"Larry and Barbara were perfect hosts for this home secluded in the woods just north of Park Rapids, MN. It’s their personal home and it is very well maintained. The bedrooms and living areas were very comfortable and created a great environment for family get-togethers. We used their pellet-fueled BBQ grill for dinner one night and enjoyed using their fire pit just outside by the driveway and the trees. It’s just a short 20 minute drive to Itasca State Park. They had a large screen TV in the bottom floor that was great for a family movie night. Highly recommend their home for a vacation!"

"Clean, close, convenient to the park. The back window looks out at a forest of pine, where we saw a large flock of wild turkeys one morning. If your plan is to visit the place where the Mississippi River begins, this is the place to stay. "

"The unit was clean, modern and larger than expected. The bathroom was also very large. The bed was comfortable. It is very close to Itasca state park if that is your destination. We only used the room to sleep as we were visiting friends at a near by cabin. We rented it twice in 3 weeks and wouldn’t hesitant to book it b again. "

"When we arrived, the check-in process was communicated to us and was so easy to follow. The host actually came and met us shortly after we checked in and he made us feel right "at home". The home was perfect for us, as we had family coming from several locations, and there was enough parking for our families 5 vehicles. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and common areas were well decorated and comfortable, giving us plenty of space to sleep, eat and relax. The outside grilling area was superb! We used the dock for the pontoon we had rented off-site, with the beach/dock area being very useable, with a nice sand play area. We used the firepit each night, with plenty of wood/kindling supplied for our use. Our family had a great time at this home, and our hosts regularly kept in contact with us to answer any questions that we had during our stay. "

"Cabin is lovely and has basics needed for cooking. Property is secluded and quiet. We had a very comfortable, unfortunately short, stay."

"Fantastic stay at this home on Potato Lake… Dock fishing and kayaking was so much fun for the kids…Public boat launch near by made it easy to bring our fishing boat and dock at the house… we enjoyed fishing all over Potato Lake! This was a perfect family get away!!!! "
