This structure, made from marble and sandstone, has an intricately painted wooden ceiling. Admire the trophy banners on display that were captured from Saracen pirates.

Located in central Pisa, Piazza dei Cavalieri is easily accessible on foot. The walk there is an enjoyable stroll along some of Pisa’s prettiest streets. Bus services also frequent the area. If arriving by car, there is some metered street parking just outside the centre of the old town. To find the best cafés, follow a local down one of the streets that lead away from the square.
