Aloha Josh, I am sorry that your stay with us not as you expected. We are in neighborhood which is normally very quiet. Unfortunately, neither I or any of our others guest heard excessive noise on Wednesday evening, But I do wish you had texted or called me on the same number you texted when you forgot your door code. I would have investigated the noise immediately, especially if it was after midnight. Blue recycling bins are right next to the outside trashcans and on the upper lanai. I apologize for not sharing this information with you. I would have shared with you had I known you could not locate them. But please do not worry, we did take recycling from the trash and deposit it in the proper bin during cleaning. The grill is cleaned daily with many cleaners and then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. We do this so when you use the grill it is clean with out others food residue on it. I apologize if our cleaning routine has made you uncomfortable. It is unfortunate your reservation was a one nighter and we did not have the opportunity to discuss these issues in person. Maui is a wonderful island and offers great experiences. I apologize again the we did not deliver on this Maui promise. I do hope your next trip to Maui is a more pleasant one.
