I chose this place over another based on reviews. My room had many stains on the carpet. Staff were very friendly and that’s what made the place good. I like the pool and sauna and location.

A nice quiet part on the edge of town, close and walkable if you don’t mind the trek. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but bed was very comfortable and coffee facilities available.

Although not the most fancy property, Marmot Lodge was perfect for our family! The beds were comfortable, the water pressure perfect, the coffee was appreciated, the pool was exceptionally nice and large, and the room itself was larger than expected. Our only gripe was the door didn't close smoothly, and my husband was the only that could get it to latch. Highly recommended and the proximity to walking to Jasper shops is such a gift. Also if you like to run, there are trails to run all around!

A wonderful stay. From check-in to check-out, they just went above. We brought our dog. They have an amazing package for a pet stay - a dish and towel to use, biscuits and bags, and a comprehensive list of dog-friendly places, dog parks, and local rules. Also, the adjacent sidewalks have ample grass areas. There is pathway across the street, that runs the length of downtown, with grassy areas on both sides. Great for dogs and walks. We had a great stay and it was because of all of the niceties. They set up Adirondack chairs on their lawn for guests to take in the magnificent surroundings. That was amazing g to see. The guest experience was excellent. All of the conveniences are well thought out and well done.
