The hotel is no more than 3.5-4 star. The front staff could be more friendly and accommodating, not bad mouthing guest with co-workers. Very noisy due to being next to the train station and shopping centre. Breakfast is overpriced. The only hotel in Istanbul asked to leave deposit even though i paid for the room in advance. Fitness centre has no privacy, it's next to the reception and glass wall.

I booked a premium room with a king bed, however upon check in they gave me a room with two small beds. I had to go back to the reception to ask for a room that matched to what I booked. Even though it was 3:00 pm, I had to wait for 10 minutes for them to assign me a new room. This was very disappointing. Everything else was good.

Very nice walkable location to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to trolly and Metro. Beautiful interior but could use some updates in flooring-Carpet. A bit noisy but that is part of being in the center of Old Town. Large Breakfast Buffet and great staff.. Felt very safe..

We stayed for 5 days, the hotel, cleanliness and convenient location really made our stay enjoyable. However due to the cold weather this time of year we chose this hotel because of the indoor swimming pool. It’s a marvelous historic hotel in old city. Extremely convenient if you’re in Istanbul for the first time and want to visit Hagia Sophia, The Old City, Grand Bazaar and surrounding areas. Breakfast very complete. The staff is the best part of the hotel. Extra kind, helpful, nice and willing to answer all the inquiries you have. Would come back every time I visit the city.

Excellent and professional staff. Especially in the dining room where chef Ozcan makes you feel like a VIP. The dining room staff is very well trained and professional and the breakfast buffet is very good. Also Nassim in the travel department is very helpful with any questions that you have. Hotel is located close to excellent and safe public transportation, unlimited shopping, good restaurants with live music in the evenings. Am excellent hotel.
