Apartments in Ironbridge

"We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "

"Stayed several times now home from home"

"An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas. It was likely that vermin would be attracted...

"Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here."

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

"I liked it very much. One of my favourite stays i think. Only thing i can think of critiquing was maybe a fan in the bedroom as it was quite warm and i didnt like to leave the windies open. Then again i find most bedroom accommodation to be over warm, so perhaps its just me."

"Decent location close to bus/train; walking distance for grocery and a quick Uber to eat costs around 8 pounds. When we first arrived we verified the bed linens were soiled from the previous occupant. There is no mattress on the bed just a severely worn mattress pad. Felt the supporting board of the bed - very uncomfortable! Basic amenities were not provided - washcloths/facecloths; soap etc. Don’t book If you need a decent night sleep. It’s a bargain for the money if the mattress and clean...

"We located the property after a change in date for a Archery tournament and the original booking could not be altered and so glad we did. Its a beautiful setting and very secure with the kit we were traveling with. We were greeted by the owners who made us fee extremely welcome. The property was very clean and ready earlier than stated. "Cannot comment as we were sent to a different loction at the last minute"

"Made a booking which was confirmed but then I received a message saying this property will not accept one night bookings at weekends. I also received no PIN number for access to the property but your company still took the money from my account. I had to find other accommodation when I got there. I will not be using vrbo again."

"Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

"A very laid back enjoyable experience. A perfect base for visiting Ludlow and Shrewsbury to see the wonderful timbered buildings there. Both offered lovely meals in an ancient setting with welcoming hosts. Also a good place to visit a place close to my heart. Carding Mill Valley a National Trust owned and well looked after location with stunning views and wonderful walks."
