The property does need some renovation. Wear and tear such as patched carpet, kitchen floor tiles lifting, tiles broken on bathroom shelf.

Hello Stevie, thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that our property did not meet your expectations. With regard to the issues that you raise, we are in the process of renovating our units but it does take time to get around them all and is also dictated by availability of tradesmen, which are in short supply in Invercargill, matching up with units being empty.

Apartment spacious and not lacking in any essentials, perhaps a little dated and a little cold on west side of building but nothing worth complaining about, an enjoyable stay was had

Our suite was not fancy but it was incredibly spacious and worked perfectly for our family of four. Really enjoyed our stay.

Massive motel room with separate lounge. Very quiet. Friendly reception- offered good dining options. Very clean - liked that all used dishes were rewashed.

The motel is in a great location, close to town and restaurants. The motel was very clean and the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside for us was that we didn't find the beds very comfortable and they didn't suit are needs

We are sorry that our beds were not to your liking, but as we are sure you can appreciate, t is impossible for us to get one type of bed that suits all guests. 8.5/10 - very nice room, jetted tub with shower in bathroom. No AC - not needed when we were there though. There is a heater. Microwave and mini fridge. Friendly owners.

A good 15 minute walk to the center of town and dining. Lovely park just across the street. Great to have the water tower as a landmark. Great McIntosh toffees at the reception.

Good size lounge and kitchen area. Shower was powerful although bathroom was quite small. Hosts were very helpful advising of good restaurants and places of interest. Queens Park just across the road was nice to walk around.

Squeaky clean
Such a clean comfortable place. Seperate room for the bed, good little kitchenette, comfy lounge and extra single bed in lounge room if needed.very helpful and friendly manager and the cleanliness was immaculate. Highly recommend.

Our Wotif Guide brought us to this lovely place. A spacious room with all of the necessities to make our stay warm and comfortable. Our welcoming hosts we’re happy to help with any questions from our tv to eateries nearby and spots to drop in on our trip the next day. And quickly assisted with a forgotten item on our departure. Close to the amazing Queens Gardens and the unique water tower. Would happily visit again.

I'm a solo road-tripper, and as soon as I walked through the door I was comforted with a greeting smile and welcoming nature. The owner let me know all the hot spots of Southland (knowing I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going) and man did his advice make all the difference! I found so many spots I decided to stay an extra night... This impromptu decision meant I had to change rooms for the last night. That was sweet as, but I forgot and left my whole bag (basically my whole home wardrobe) unpacked and scattered. The owners moved my stuff for me while I was out adventuring, and more than that, they did it respectfully!! They took note of how I had my stuff laid out and put everything back in its rightful place. I was extremely apologetic for the shambles I left my room in (trust me, it was BAD) and tried to offer a tip but they wouldnt take it. They didn't make me feel bad. They were the most lovely people, running a beautiful motel, in beautiful Southland. If you're ever in Invercargill, I wouldnt recommend anywhere else!
