Anne is so friendly and accommodating. We requested to check in early as we wanted to reach Bendigo before the Awakening of the Dragon event at 2pm. Was no problem and the room was even ready by the time we arrived. Place is very clean and had everything you'd expect in a motel and caravan park in the area. Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, dish liquid to name a few. Only thing we noticed is that internet connection (wifi) is patchy as our mobile signal (Vodaphone) was patchy as well. Not a deal breaker for us as we really didn't need to be online at the time.

Nice little Gem. Can't wait to stay again, a little longer this time. If I'm going to be picky, the aircon blew into my face while trying to sleep. I was too tired to work out if it could be adjusted. Wasn't a biggy.

Nice friendly accommodation. Room was lovely and modern (bathroom needs some work) with all the basic essentials. Foxtel a great bonus!! Fresh towels for day 2 would of been nice, along with working wifi. Apart from that, it was a great place, would love to stay again.

Proprieters were lovely & very helpful. Beds in Motel were great & very comfortable. The room was showing its age. Broken tile on shower base, rust & damage around edge of bathroom sink. No clock at all. Stuff left in fridge from previos guest. Broken step going from car up onto verandah. Also they had a power board plugged into another power board.

I'm sorry to hear that. Which room were you in, as those heaters turn up to 30 degrees, so it may be faulty. We actually had a guest this morning saying how wonderfully warm the room was, so if we know which room you were in, we can take a look. Also, not saying you did this, but sometimes people forget to close the windows in the rooms properly and as you know its very cold here at night during winter. Beds were comfortable. Both remotes to Foxtel and Tv were very dirty. Their internet was done while we were there. The next day they knocked on our door to say they needed to replace light globes, no pre warning . We won't be going back.

More attention needed
Bed was comfortable and room was clean but needed an update. Bathroom sink was rusting. Smell of cleaning fluid was overbearing and had door and windows wide open for hours and had to put fan and and airconditioning on full to try to reduce odour. Advised reception who did not seem interested.

First impression was clean and fresh. Provision for making own breakfast/snack all present - but not advertised so I was disappointed I couldn't make full use and had to go on to buy brekkie that I don't find quite suitable. Bathroom showing age but perfectly cleaned. Good place to stop on the long journey.

Rustic Motel in rural Victoria
Spent two nights here on a family holiday. The room was outdated but still comfortable. The bathroom definitely needed updating. The temporary managers were friendly and helpful.
