"Loved it - small-town hotel in an historic building dating back to 1900, when it was originally opened as a hotel, across the street from the train station (train station still there, no passengers arriving). Go there expecting to appreciate a renovated step back into history! The innkeeper was as welcoming and as happy to have us as guests as we were as happy to be there and have him as the innkeeper."

"The staff were friendly. But from the time I walked in and was told that the first floor of the hotel flooded I knew there was going to be a problem. When I got my alternate room, I could see it hadn’t been used for some time. The carpet had yellowing-brown and red stains. The mirrors were dirty. In the bathroom there were no towels. We had to ask for the refrigerator that was supposed to come with the room. We were told they were short on refrigerators, so they had to go to an empty room to get one from there. The manager of the hotel is also the maintenance guy. The so called hot breakfast, I wouldn’t even bother. If I were the owner I would take that off the advertisement. The elevator constantly smelt like marijuana and the phone was broken. This place really need some cleaning up."
