The staff at the hotel were great, and helped with any queries. We stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment which was spacious enough for a family of four. The bed was comfortable and massive. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. The kitchenette although small was well kitted out well with oven hob and microwave. The swimming pool overlooked the sea and the sunset was stunning. Only disappointment was that the kids club wasn't open over October half term when we went. The local area is a bit hit and miss, many of the restaurants had closed for the season and the local beach wasnt great - get out to Cala Bassa instead. Supermarket Suma 10mins away, bus stop just across the road. Going the other way a really useful souvenir shop a minute away.

I loved the fact we had seperate rooms & the main room had a large double bed. The room itself was clean & spacious but the balcony view wasnt great. The washing machines were in a separate area & it only cost €4 to do two loads which is good. The air conditioning was dripping in our lounge though which was the only problem with our room & the fridge was very old too. The down sides are: there is no beach, just sea & rocks directly outside the back of the hotel, the bikes for hire looked like they'd just been salvaged from a tip, the cinema screens for the children were only on a Sunday night, the food at the hotel was extremely expensive as were the drinks, the pool was in dire need of repair from stairs coming out of the concrete, to broken tiles in the pool, the manager of the on-site restaurant was extremely rude & disrespectful when getting a food order wrong, one of the staff at the same restaurant was over charging on the drinks & keeping the excess to herself & to top it off, you couldn't get a taxi between 6pm-10pm due to "sunset hours". Ive travelled to ibiza many times & never had problems with the taxis before. On the night we were leaving, we had to get a bus to the airport as the hotels don't work with the taxis, to make sure guests have travel covered or prebooked. All in all, for the price we paid to stay in a "palace", it was far from it & i wouldn't return to this hotel again

The hotel staff are very respectful and helpful in anyway they can be. The hotel itself tho is a little dated. The photos show an updated hotel but not reflective of what our room looked like. There are three towers so many they are slowly renovating tower by tower but not sure. The room itself though is still spacious and nice.

The external parts of the property were a little tired - however absolutely no complaints about the apartment. Paid for the two bedroom presidential suite. Excellent accommodation - felt like home from home. Very clean, everything we needed was there and more importantly for us a huge terrace with al fresco soft seating, loungers and dining table. Would recommend. Staff very friendly.

Two adults and two kids. We all loved staying here, the two pools were amazing and loads of sun loungers any time we went. The staff were all lovely, rooms were clean and loads of room for us all. The sea view was amazing with a perfect view of the sunset. Can't wait to go back again

If possible, avoid the 'classic' appartments
We stayed in the 'classic' part of the hotel, which was very dated. Their are two other buildings that have been newly built and ideally we would / should have booked to stay in these. Otherwise, the pools were clean and pleasant, the restaurant / bar was set off the sea, with a stunning view of the sunset each evening.

Very pleasant stay
Our one bedroom apartment was ideal for our needs. Visiting our daughter who lives locally, we could have her visit us for breakfast on our large balcony after picking up excellent fresh bread from the shop in the hotel. The apartment was very clean and surprisingly spacious and exceeded our expectations by some way. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower spotless. Hotel grounds are very pleasant with nice view of the sea and sunset. Pool area spacious but service at bar a little slow when other guests going through the cocktail menu! We ate by the pool on our last night and had a simple pizza that was good value and delicious . Only gripe is the 8 euros a day parking charge we paid for on arriving. There is lots of free parking 200 meteres down the road which we should have used. I couldn’t get WiFi in the room but not a problem for us. If we go back to this area I would definitely stay here again.

Family stay for Easter
Check in is not until 16.00 - so if you arrive at 13.00 as we did be prepared for a long wait to check in. Parking is opposite the hotel - but not sign posted and you will need to park elsewhere when arriving as you can only get the key to the car park on check in. Once you have finally managed to park and check in the appartments are very good - the extra cost of a large balacony is worth it. There is no so much to do locally so rent a car unless you are happy to stay by the hotel pools. The appartment we had was fitted out to a high standard and the option of having a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier was great for a family. Only small issue was that the beds were very firm - this was also the case when we stayed in an Ibiza town appartment so it may be a general situation.

Perfect for us
Read lots of review of hotels and car rental all over the island and was very scared. In the end our choice - Hotel - Mariana palace Car rental - Hiper Car rental Both worked out great. All our fears were blown away. Instead had a brilliant time. The hotel was perfect for us as a family. Maybe it was off season? unsure but quite, the cockerel was the only thing we could hear, which was like music to our ears. It meant breakfast on the balcony looking at great views. The rooms were cleaned every other day and nothing went missing. It met our needs, Great location for us and would stay again

These apartments are close enough to the San Antoni Bay where the main action is yet far enough to give you the feeling of being secluded from the hustle bustle of the party scene..very family friendly place..i booked an apartment but was pleasantly surpirsed when I was offered a separate house to live..the sunset from the hotel is amazing!! Recommended!

Great place to relax.
Great location as I was visiting friends in a near by hotel and if you want a peaceful quiet holiday. The outside area is clean, food is good and the pool quiet which was fantastic. Nice place to relax. You can hear the noise from other rooms quite easily. Cleaning was ok but surfaces were often left with minor crumbs. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.

Poor location not much to do and see, had to go into the town to experience anything remotely interesting including restaurants. Spent a day at the old town which was nice so suggest a stay nearer there would be better. No TV in room No safe in room Bar shut at 11pm and restaurant on site wasn't much to write home about. Meals and drinks at the hotel bar weren't great yet expensive.

Check in fast - stayed in Deluxe room in block B with a sea view. Room was beautiful and modern with new sofa bed which was massive - possibly king size. Kitchen new as well with plenty of utensils etc. Big fridge freezer provided along with new oven and dishwasher and washing machine. Complimentary tea bags, coffee and sugar. Bathroom new with modern fittings and good shower. Complimentary toothbrush, soap, shower gel, shampoo and even razor, cotton buds and comb. Loads of towels and hairdryer in drawer under modern sink. Bedroom lovely with two single beds and loads of hanging space in fitted wardrobes. Free safe and electric blinds in both bedroom and living room. Free wi fi which had a great connection even on rocks outside! Balcony with movable drying rail and rattan furniture and chairs. Flat screen TV with 8 English speaking channels though some duplicates. Cleaners changed towels daily. Iron board and iron in kitchen cupboard. Restaurants on site and two pools. Ping pong table (free) and pool table ( 1 euro). Definitely recommend the Deluxe room. Can't comment on other rooms. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Great short stay just a shame end of season
Myself and 5 other family members (2 children, 2 seniors and 2 adults) stayed at the Marina Palace from 24th-31st October (English school holidays). When we arrived at the hotel we were met with a very friendly and polite lady receptionist who did her best to accommodate us given that we arrived before check-in. We had booked two rooms (one 1 bed apt and 1 2 bed apt). The 1 bed for our parents was ready. Prior to the stay, i e-mailed the hotel in hope that the two rooms could be together. We got room 101 and 103. Not quite together but perfect enough for our needs. Rooms - The sound proofing though wasn't the best. We could hear cars going past as it is on road side BUT i couldn't here a thing at night (very quiet .. maybe because it was end of season). Huge balcony terrace with a table and 6 chairs and 2 sun loungers. Two great air conditioning units that actually worked! Kitchen - Suit needs. No kettle but i made do using a pan to make cups of tea. No dishwasher or washing machine so please don't (like me) go think there will be one .. maybe some rooms do but not all. Very clean. Maid service everyday including the weekends and very polite. Local area. Beach a fair walk down the road but you pass a park for kids and a few shops. it rocky by the hotel. Bus into SA for boating trips (worth the money). Big supermarket 700m away (out of reception turn left. first right at cross roads to the top then take a left. cheapest around[you'll pas the nearest bus stop too).

Had an amazing stay at the Marina Palace Prestige, great location, beautiful views of the sea, lovely pool area, great staff - nothing was too much trouble (asked for a kettle for apartment and got one within 5 minutes and also needed a bottle opener late one night and got one within 5 minutes) great spacious clean apartments, lovely shop on site, can't find any negatives with this hotel!

Stayed in the Marina Palace Prestige as a family of 4 in July 2015 for a week. Based on the amount we payed through hotels.com we thought this was great value. We stayed in one of the cheaper classic rooms, these are the ones that have not been updated yet so the furniture is a bit out dated and the tv is a CRT rather than flat screen LCD but the room was clean, good quality beds and the air conditioning was very effective. Maid service was daily, the public areas very clean and all the staff friendly. The kids went to the kids club every day and enjoyed it, the poold was clean and we never had a problem getting a sun lounger. The hotel location is at the far end of San Antonio Bay with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. There is also a water park at the Serenis hotel, about a 10 minute walk. We will certainly consider going back to this hotel again.
