"We chose this hotel on a whim after being trapped in Tampa for three days due to the airline shutting down for a bad storm. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport and a good price. It did come through for what we needed which was a place to relax and wait for the flights to start up again. Some positives are the pool is very nice and the pool furniture is comfortable. The beds are comfortable. It has a refrigerator and microwave. It does include breakfast, but I didn’t think the breakfast was great but it’s nice that it’s there. We were initially put in a room on the bottom floor in the back which smelled a little musty, but asked to move and was given a room on the second floor that was much cleaner and brighter. The staff was very nice. There are a few places if you are without a car to walk and get some things to eat. Be careful on the road in front because there is no crosswalks and cars just fly by. Overall we’re glad we chose this hotel."

"Hotel was great for 1 night. Lobby attendant was nice and gracious as well as morning staff for breakfast . Nice comfortable bed and even had mini microwave and refrig. Nothing bad about our staff"

"Love the location, shops, dining and the hotel has a great energy. Two things I have told them many time about during my previous visits. The master light switches and the power conserve timers are a real issue. The light doesn’t sync correctly and you’re always having to go to the main switch at front door. Secondly the TVs are not smart tvs with no access to apps and there is no way to stream to the tv or mirror. I’m not the only one saying this, the front desk has hear it before. Hyde Park is a great area and I will always stay at Paliehouse. "

"Room was cold. Heater would not heat up past 70°. In room Coffee service was terrible. Had to change rooms because first room smelled of cigarette smoke. Hotel restaurant was less than average. In room sofa was stained. Carpets leading into most rooms elevator were severely frayed."

"The sheets were not clean, the pillows felt old and bunched up. I usually take towels when I travel so I can’t say much about that, but the room looked like it’s in need of some renovations. The staff was super friendly. Keep in mind they will put a $100 hold on your credit card for any service you request, I didn’t request anything but I only got $60 back…I’m not sure why and I’m not going to worry about, I will not stay there again. "
