Thanks to hotel.com problems occured during check in.First of all we had to pay 20$ for other dog,then we had to pay 17$ to change the room because we didn't contact the hotel to tell them we bring a dog.Nothing on hotels.com website told us we have to contact the hotel before arriving,nothing on the website we have to pay 20$ for the dog.We got new room we didn't like it.After discussing for 15 minutes they gave us another room,but for me this holiday was destroyed already.Thank you hotels.com Hotel is a bit older but in good condition and well maintained.Location is the best,pool is nice,room had a good size and was clean and bright.Breakfast was ok,nothing fancy,be aware of rooming monkeys they come in the morning looking for food and grab everything watch your valuables

Extra nice and helpful staff.
An older hotel on the nice secluded beach. Staff was really nice and helpful on all issues. I saw the fireworks on the nice beach with hardly anyone around. Perfect new year celebration on the beach with wine.

We're sad you did not enjoy your stay at Nern Chalet. As a property with direct beach access, we are a bit farther away from central Hua Hin than other hotels. However we’re close to public transport options allowing you to get to other points of interest. Our location is prominently displayed on Expedia maps so you’re informed when booking. Regarding pets, much like other pet friendly hotels, there is a charge for your furry family member. However we must charge a premium to accommodate cleaning the rooms where pets have stayed. This is a necessity in service of our other customers.

Very good hotel right on the beach..
excellent stay with very good service. only one suggestion, need to improve the breakfast and check that the bread does not get moody...the brown bread was full of mold

Great for beach going.
Easy walk to the ocean, or you can stay in the outdoor lobby and look over it. Clean, comfortable rooms with enough space to stretch out. Fine service.

Awesome location on the beach.
Great location right on the beach. Cute lovely pool that my nephew enjoyed very much. Awesome friendly staffs. Very accommodating to our needs and everything else. Our European neighbor guests, however are quite territorial. they told us we couldn't use the beach chair by the pool because they have 'taken' it. That's not very nice and I hated having to argue with them in front of my nephew. So I let it go. But there are plenty more chairs. It would be nice if the staffs come enforcing people a bit about first come first and sharing space.

Quiet Relaxing Weekend
The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The breakfast was tasty. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location at the end of the beach was nice as well. The pool was much deeper than it initially looked and was well situated to allow us to relax and watch the ocean. If you are looking for a nice quiet stay at a reasonable price I would recommend it. Also, despite being away from the main night spots and night market we had no trouble at all getting taxis or Tuk tuks to take us there.

Quiet beachfront!
We stayed here for 3 nights in July. It was a great quiet retreat. The pool area is rather small but was never crowded when we were there. It's a great spot to relax and look out at the ocean. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and really make the stay enjoyable.

Small but friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nern Chalet Beachfront Hotel. We chose the Nern because it wasn't in the town centre but still only a 10 minute drive away. The staff were welcoming, friendly and spoke some English. My wife and I were impressed at how clean the hotel was. The free wi-fi was quick and easy to use. Apart from Saturday the hotel was very quiet, which probably added to our enjoyment. Whilst the beach in front of The Nern is adequate, there is, in my opinion,a better beach just 1 kilometre south of The Nern.

This hotel is nice, but far away from everything.
We really liked this hotel and all of its amenities, but its too far away from everything. The taxis are unreliable and sometimes over priced. The staff didn't speak much english so communication was difficult. The pool was nice and the beach front view was beautiful. The room was nice, but on the small side. Breakfast was very good too.

I udkanten af byen, men alligevel fantastisk placering den hotellet ligger helt ned til en super god strand, 10 minutters gang til en anden strand. Lå lige ved en bakketop med restaurant med dejlig mad, og hvor vi bla oplevede at en abe pludselig hoppede fra taget ned på bortdet. Oppe på bakketoppen var der mange aber. Der er hele tiden tuk-tuk's som kan køre ind til byen. Dette sted besøger vi gerne igen.

Hyggelig og grei personale. Rent og ryddig på hotellet. Frokosten er enkel og vanlig uten noe spesielt. Flott beliggenhet med tanke på strand, rolig område men litt avsidesliggende og en del skur og dårlige bygg i nabolaget.

Service i top.Personalet servicemindet,selvom vi have lidt besvær med at forstå hinanden. Omgivelserne var pæne,men kunne trænge til en opfriskning. Det samme gjaldt værelset,hvor sengene var lidt hårde efter min mening.

Avkoppling och vila
Ett mellanklass hotell, som ligger i en avskild del av hua hin. Läget bra om man önskar avskildhet och avkoppling. Bra med pool och egen strand, inkludera frukost i vistelsen- den är bra. Annars Dyrt att äta och dricka på hotellet

Liked the hotel very much even though there are some drawbacks: aircon in my room needs cleaning (smells mouldy), noisy construction sites nearby, umbrellas and recliners near the pool are too heavy to move. Pros: very nice team working at hotel, perfect cleaning of room, beautiful design of hotel garden and sun deck. Abundant breakfast. Perfect location directly on the beach, next to Takiab mountain, its temples and monkeys. The sea water isnt very clean in hua hin in general, but the beach is still nice. In february 2018, there are noisy constructions going up next to the mountain but the hotel is actually the first nice one that is decently far away so that construction noise is ok. Would go again.

Fantastisk lille sted, meget intimt og familiært, helt ud til det flotteste hav/strand. Hvis man vil have ro, er det hertil man skal tage. Sengene var lidt hårde - det er min eneste negative ting at sige om dette sted. Stedet ligger lidt udenfor Hua Hin så hvis man vil have byens liv ved siden af er det nok ikke stedet.

Bra läge och internet men annars inget vidare.
Perfekt läge och jättebra internet. inget för oss. Inget vidare mat, kändes lite snålt, dålig frukost, en dag fanns inga handdukar till solstolen förrän kl. 9 kommer inte rekommendera detta hotell.

Small and friendly hotel right on the beach
You're slightly outside the Hua Hin center, which in my opinion is great. The area is quiet and the hotel is right at the beachfront. While the beach here is not well suited for regular beach activities (at high tide the water touches the hotel wall) it's wonderful to sit in a sunchair or in an armchair under the roof and just watch the ocean. Service is very friendly. Breakfast is fine, but after a few days you'd probably want more variety. You can order basic lunch dishes from a limited menu. If you want better food go to the excellent seafood restaurant 100 m away where you can enjoy barbequed seafood a few meters from the waves.
