Welcoming and comfortable. Blackout curtains shut out the city lights. Close and walkable to everything in Theater District and blocks from train to Museums. Hotel restaurant outstanding, but very busy. Luckily, Frank's Pizza just blocks away. Only issue: handicapped room did not have any rails in shower or by toilet. Toilet was also crammed against wall so a bit difficult for my husband. Will stay here again when we return to Houston.

I love how the staff took care of my needs. To be honest, it was my first time trying a luxury hotel, so I was not comfortable with some things and the tipping culture. However, it made me want to introduce this culture to my parents in the future.

Wonderful hotel, one of the best I have travelled to. Great service, lovely style, fantastic bar, restaurant and breakfast and the incredible art collection puts it way over the top. Rooms contain original contemporary American art, and a whole display of numerous pieces in common areas of the hotel. Highly recommend.
