Nice view and brightb
Would havevbeen better had I known itvwas a VRBO property but managed by a local company so i paid an extra fee. Also local company although responsive was pretty negligent about assistance with checkin. Very disapointed with any cleaning items like a dishcloth. Instructions re TV lousy..never did get the mastrr bedroom tv to work. Birds were a bit of a problem. Louvers were left open so messy lanai. All in all great propertynbut terrible management.

We emailed you the check-in instructions before your arrival. However, to ensure you received them and had no difficulties, we should have followed up with you before your arrival. We also apologize for the issues you encountered with the TV instructions and the messy lanai. We wish we had been aware of these problems at the time. If you had mentioned them when we brought the kitchen towels, we could have assisted you with the TV. While the presence of birds is unpredictable, and we cannot guarantee a completely bird-free environment, we will explore options with the hotel to minimize any inconvenience they may cause in the future. We appreciate your feedback on the property itself. We are glad you enjoyed the overall location and space. Your insights and suggestions are valuable to us, and we will strive to continually improve our guest experience.

Great location, property, communication
The condo in Ilikai was centrally located and in good condition. Yuiko, the property manager, responded quickly with helpful tips on how to restart the A/C unit. The Ilikai front desk took care of minor needs (towels, hangers) efficiently. All these helped make our vacation a great one.

Great condo close to Waikiki
We enjoyed our stay very much. Beds were comfortable and furnishings were very nice. Other posters to the property said it was out dated but it must have been renovated since then. Clean and comfortable. Only thing that could be improved would be to provide guests with beach towels as front desk will not give any to you since you aren’t hotel guests.

Good value and location
A very good 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo, centrally located in Waikiki, with access to other major hotels and attractions. Convenient bus stop right out front that takes you everywhere you want to go. Only a few blocks to a major mall (Alo Moana Centre) and lots of cool shopping/dining at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The suite was as advertised (we learned that some condos in the building AREN'T as advertised), in a very good hotel with 2 nice pools, shops, and a fantastic ice cream shop that we ate at more than we are willing to admit. ;-) True, both the hotel and the suite could use an update, but nothing that is a deal breaker, e.g., updated carpets, décor, etc. are in order, as well as some attention to general wear and tear. The property management was very responsive via email, text, etc., and we got everything we needed/asked for. Would recommend this suite to others!

Waikiki Beach
The Ikilai Hotel on Waikiki beach was great. In the middle of lots of food places and the beach was in walking distance as was the mall. The guest services were wonderful and very accommodating.

Relaxing vacation
This property allows for you to not have to go anywhere else to get your beach time or pool time. Plenty of avenues to take if you want to use the bus system. Just purchase a bus pass and use the system instead of renting s car. We found you spend too much time driving and not walking and relaxing

Amazing stay!
This place was perfect. It was a spacious condo perfectly located in Waikiki. Everything was complete in the location, from the kitchen to the extra towels. We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely made our first experience in Hawaii perfect!

Perfect Location
Our family had a pleasant stay at the Ilikai Hotel hosted by VRBO representative. The room is up to date with decoration and remodeling. We were very comfortable. The twin beds in the living room gave us an extra sleeping arrangement. The location is centrally located at Waikiki. The valet service with extra cost was very convenient. The host was able to give me immediate answer over email and it was a great plus. One thing I would like the host to improve is providing an information binder with all the necessary information such as wifi, do's and don't, favorite restaurants, and etc. Since this property is located within the Ilikai Hotel but manage by individual VRBO, it is very confusing to know who to go to for information. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this property choice and I highly recommended it to others.

Please read and stay away.
I would not recommend this property to anyone. Its proximity to the street and bars, made for noisy nights. We were woken by traffic and screaming. It was difficult to enjoy sitting on the lanai as you are not protected from the constant dropping of bird crap and also had to be on the lookout for any number of items falling from above, including cigarette butts, blunts, and no joking, even a drone that was crashed there by another hotel resident. Additionally, the window draping in one of the bathroom did even cover the entire window, allowing exposure to anyone walking by. In the other bathroom, the tub did not drain properly.

Convenient location
Pro: Very nice apartment. Spacious. Perfect for small family. Very convenient location. Con: No hotel cleaning service though. Probably want to change the description in the listing. I would also make some suggestions: 1. A couple more towels (since you have to do Landry outside). 2. Some cloth hangers in the closet. Wire hangers will do. 3. Some more garbage bags. Only 2 for the week right now. 4. Change the shower curtain (it smells) All these improvement will cost less than $50 but would make the stay experience a lot better.

Not all we expected ....
Although the property had some nice attributes (location, size, kitchen well equipped and good communications with the property manager), the bugs (big cockroaches) put a darker cloud on our stay. It may be usual for some to find cockroaches in Hawaii in regard of the weather but for us, coming from Canada, it is something we did not want or expect. Also, a few negative points: the guest bedroom and bathroom are surrounded by windows which let the noise from the street and the heat come in due to cheap windows and coverings, no fan in the guest bathroom, the lanai gets dirty very easily, no lighting above the dining room table, no beach chairs to use at the beach and the hotel will not let you rent some because this is a private condo. Not our best find while visiting Hawaii.

Nice Condo/ Hotel unit in Waikiki
We enjoyed our stay at this condo/ hotel. It is a short walk to the Waikiki beach area. It was very convenient that the unit had items we needed for the beach and our trip such as beach umbrellas, beach towels and sand toys for our child. The unit was quite roomy with a huge balcony. The time we were there the condo was very reasonably priced for a two-bedroom two bath. It was also nice that they put a twin bed put for an extra person in the living room. Cable and wifi was included.

Pluses and minuses
Property was nice - spacious, and updated. There is not much of a view other than sky from the balcony - mostly covered by railings and trees. The kitchen was lacking amenities (no paper towels) and both of the cooking pans were soiled with blackened residue. (pots were ok). one bathroom was a bit dirty, with blobs of soap residue on the shower curtains, and rust on the rod (yuck). The fabric on the furniture was soiled, so i draped sheets over them before we sat down. The air conditioning was great, the lighting was great, and the carpeting looked brand new, which was nice. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet.

First time Hawaii Vacation
The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable, and pleasantly furnished. The kitchen was great to cook and all appliances working properly. The refrigerator was modern and nice. The living room and balconies (2) was perfect. The location is the top advantage to this condo. It is close to everywhere worth visiting. My family had an awesome Experience !!!!

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo!
We loved everything about this condo! Spacious, well kept, beautifully furnished and the patio was a great spot to read and have a cup of coffee in the am. The building is also so nice with 2 pool areas, a really good restaurant and tons of other amenities. Highly recommend!

Great location and accommodations
The location and access to the local area was excellent. The condo was very clean and the beds particularly comfortable (not excessively used). A few minor irritations that should have been taken care of before arrival was battery replacement in all of the A/C controllers which were unreliable and the door mechanism appears to be on the verge of failure as it didn’t work numerous times. We very much enjoyed Cinammon’s.

This is a fantastic family sized unit. The unit was clean and in a great complex, close to restaurants, shops and beaches. I would definitely consider staying in this accommodation again. The process for booking was efficient and well communicated. We loved our time in Waikiki and this stylish, practical and large unit was perfect for my family.

Very nice condo for family!
Was a great condo for our family and Grandma/Grandpa to all stay in one place on the beach. Big living room was great for playing games with the family, and the well furnished kitchen was great to have for days we didn't want to go out for dinner (most days?) Loved the huge balcony- second floor felt very safe with the kids, and for this dad who doesn't like heights. Will definitely come back.

Spacious apartment suitable for family
This apartment was large and spacious and was true to the pictures provided. It was the perfect size for a family and kids. The location was convenient to beaches and the Hilton lagoon, however a little further from the main strip of shopping in Waikiki. The only issues we had was with the front door getting stuck regularly when we tried to enter, it required a fair amount of force to open, and a loose handle on the shower which fell off every time it was used (this has been mentioned in a previous review, but seems not to be fixed yet). Overalll we were very happy with our stay and all communication with Chloe leading up to our visit was excellent.

Beautifully renovated comfortable condo
My wife, my twenty month old and I absolutely loved this condo. It was clean, the furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the patio was spacious and safe for our son. The place was light during the day and very dark at night so we all slept very well. We liked how we could control the temperature of the condo with both the huge sliding doors in the main living area, with the fans, and with the AC. The condo was situated very close to the lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian and Waikiki beach was very close as well. It was great to be in between Ala Moana Mall and Waikiki beach as you have many options for dining out. The kids pool in the Ilikai is great for toddlers. It would have been nice to be able to use the fitness centre in the Ilikia but we were not allowed by the hotel. Oh and be careful not to lift your kids high in the air near the fans, I had a close call. I am short so have never had this problem haha. The property manager for this condo was accommodating and very pleasant as well. We had some baby equipment delivered to the condo prior to our arrival and she (Chloe) met them so they could have it in th condo upon our arrival. Thank you! Overall this condo had a great layout and we wouldn't definitely stay here again.

Great location
Steps to Waikiki beach, spacious and clean. (One tip: we paid $28 a day for hotel valet parking but there was $5/day valet available a few doors away.)
