Reasonable price for a well designed modern hotel
Lovely rooms. They were renovating the facade so unfortunately I couldnt enjoy the lovely view from my high room but I would definately stay at this place again.

The whole facilities are old, the mattress is old so it’s not a flat sharp but a V shape and you’ll fall to the middle. The wall next to the toilet door is always dropping white powder while opening or closing the door. The carpet is dusty so it’s needed to be cleaned better. The view of 01 room is great and the staff are nice.

The bed is excellent. What else do you want?
I've been staying in Hollywood Travelodge for the last few months while my apartment gets renovated; I have another 2-3 weeks to go. I've stayed at this particular hotel many times over the years when in between apartments, and my company uses it for visiting colleagues (or used to, in the pre-COVID days...). It's a straightforward hotel that has everything you need from a hotel: soft, comfortable bed, pillows that work when you sleep on them, clean sheets, efficient and effective cleaners and staff. It's in a thoroughly convenient location, affordably priced (especially for the quality of the bed, it's considerably higher quality than most hotels in the same price range), and very accommodating. I've had to extend this particular stay two or three times (each by about two weeks), and the staff has been great with making me feel comfortable and making sure I can stay in the same room. I have no complaints and only praise to give.

The hotel room was small by American standards. The walls were thin, if you had noisy neighbors, you could hear them. There was a sewer smell coming up from the drains in the bathroom. Still my stay there was very positive. The hotel wasn’t far from the Sheung Wan MTR Station. There were a number of good restaurants along Queen Street near the hotel. The hotel provided a local mobile phone with a data plan so I didn’t need to buy a SIM card for my phone. They provided bottled water to my room every day. My room had a refrigerator and a safe for valuables. The housekeeping was excellent. It was some of the best service I ever had in a hotel. Staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

Condition of the hotel room is nowhere near what's shown in photos. While it was relatively clean, everything else is used and old, including the discoloured tiles in the bathroom and black mold around the shower. The curtain was stained, multiple marks on the wall. No hand or body cream provided. The AC was surprisingly loud, to the point it wakes me up in the middle of the night. You can also hear a lot of movement outside the room. Staff was relatively nice. I won't be staying over here again, unfortunately.

Just completed a eight night stay here and could not have been more pleased. The room was very small but clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff unfailingly friendly and eager to be of help. The hotel is modern and well maintained. The location could not be better a short walk to metro station, ferry terminals, and a galaxy of dining and shopping options. It happens to be directly adjacent to Hollywood Road Park which is said to be the very place where the British Royal Navy first landed in Hong Kong in 1841. Great place to stay and an excellent value

The room pretty dirty and very out dated. There many part of the room which need some attention and fixing! Certainly the worst and poorest room I have ever stayed in during my extensive travels in SE Asia by far!... I would never ever want to stay in this hotel again. One to avoid for sure.

Great location, fantastic value
Great location, easy walking distance to Metro and a Central. Comfortable, clean rooms, with added touch of free mobile phone to use during stay. No restaurant or self-laundry, but, for the price, it’s hard to beat Travelodge for value. Will definitely return for business trip but also good choice for affordable trip to pricey HK

I got a horrible rash from the bedsheets which caused an infection that now requires me to take antibiotics. I think some kinda bed bugs gave it to me. The hotel feels old and requires modernisation.

Travelodge at Hollywood Road
I love this hotel for the high level of service and courtesy provided by front desk n housekeeping. Credit goes to Ms Selina who even goes the extra mile to go and get a taxi for me during this period of disturbances in the neighborhood areas where protesters rallied. I will definitely want to stay at Travel Lodge again although it is not centrally located in the busy high end shopping area. However most places of attraction are within walking distance.
