"Good ryokan style hotel with in room welcoming onsen type wooden bath available in addition to a public onsen. A good kaiseki dinner is included in a private dining room. A buffet style breakfast is also included though it is not as good as the dinner. Friendly, helpful staff. "

"We decided to go to this property for two reasons: 1) the proximity to some world heritage sites and 2) the onsen that this property had. While my Japanese language skills are nearly non-existent and we were the only westerners at the property, the staff worked very hard to make us feel at home and to help translate things so that we could understand them. This is not a five star property, but it accomplishes all of the things that they set out to do very well."
