"This is a very quaint and unique Inn worth visiting. Very charming and the staff was great. We enjoyed the quieter location just over the bridge from the main tourist area. Breakfast was a little pricey but was worth the experience. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. My only complaint was that the bathroom in our suite was very dated and the old shower head sprayed everywhere. "

"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"Hotel Heidelberg is located outside downtown Heidelberg. We enjoy staying here because the area is walkable with convenient access to the street car to get to the main train station. We enjoy the local shops nearby. It is an older hotel with the charm and quirks of such. Our room is very quiet with no noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway. "

"Very pleasantly surprised. Given the very reasonable price, I came in with low expectations. But wow, though the rooms are small, they are quite nice. Recently remodeled it seems, and very clean. There’s a lot of attention to detail in all the small things in the design and upkeep of the rooms: someone went out of their way to cool all of the power cables for TV, phone, etc and cable tie them, there’s nice ledges for toiletries in the bathroom and inside the shower, and the bed is very soft.
