Hair in shower, dust on desk light under tv console, ripped covers on bed bolsters, towel rack coming out of wall at vanity, shampoo empty, no hot food at breakfast by 9am, desk staff on cell phone upon approaching to check out didn’t look up for 10secs, no greeting. Upon complaining of housekeeping her response was that a manager could me later and offer me points. I’m not a bonvoy member!

This hotel is really expensive. It is a little run down and has no exhaust fan for the bathroom. There is no free continental breakfast and the lids for the coffee cups in the room won’t fit the cups. Sorry, but I would not stay there again

This is a hotel that does not reflect the Marriot name. There seems to be a housekeeping problem. In our room the sheets did not fit the bed so had in fact curled off the mattress. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and gave us another room. When I went to check it the room wasn’t made up. Pillows and comforter on the floor. Back to the front desk. Third time lucky. All this after a 10 hour drive. No Bistro, no coffee anywhere. Even on departure at 6 30. Lobby was dark, no coffee, no breakfast. Really poor performance.

The room is very nice and updated. We had our saughter with us and she stayed on rhe couch bed and it was comfortable for her. The bistro downstairs has good food and drinks. My daughter spilled her coffee as we were leaving so we went in to get another and the gentleman gave us another no charge. All the staff we interacted with were nice.

The bed was so hard I couldn't sleep at all. Hotel was very nice and clean and staff friendly but the mattress was awful.

Overall, the property was very worn and tired. My shower had mildew in it. There were a lot of scratches on the walls in the hallway, as well as near the elevator, and in my room. The balcony door was very difficult to open and close.

I dislike the bed/bedding. It’s just a mattress against the wall. There are “header pillows” in lieu of a headboard, and the shams do not fit so the gross pillow sticks out. The comforter is no good. Too small for a king and the sheets kept coming off bed.

I was disappointed in the condition of this hotel. There was a great deal of mildew in the bathroom shower, and the shower walls looked dirty. Also, I thought it was odd that the beds did not have head boards. In place of headboards, there was a foam wedge placed behind the pillows. Also, we walked by a storage room which had an open door, and boy, sometimes you are just better off not seeing things that are supposed to closed off. It was just sloppy and dirty in general.

There was an issue with the cleanliness of the room that was taken care upon request. If we were to return, I doubt we will stay there. No matter the room setting, the air in the room was stale and stuffy. The mattress sagged in the middle and the pillows were small and too soft.

No mattress covers! Funny foam cushion things as headboards that didn’t have covers that fit. Shower curtain was red with mildew. Should invest in continental breakfast over the Starbucks thing.

It was perfectly fine for a couple nights, situated in a good area and easily walkable which is nice. We stayed during Parents Weekend at JMU. My only complaint was the lack of coffee available for patrons in the early morning hours, mostly due to the onsite Starbucks that opened late on weekend and ran behind schedule.
