"Had a great weekend stay about as close as you can get to the historic Harpers Ferry location. Pretty cool to stay in such an historic building in an area of such rich history. Suite was clean & had everything we needed. Check in was smooth and simple. The multiple freight trains going past were long & loud, but that added to the uniqueness of the location/experience. "We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. "Some of the most important things while traveling is looking for a place to stay that is both safe and clean. This apartment definitely topped that. It is adorable and in a town full of so much history. I highly recommend staying here. The property manager was very kind and communicated very well with us incase we needed anything. "Quaint, cozy, and comfortable apartment in historical building in Harpers Ferry in the heart of the national park. Perfect base for exploring the town and its history. Several free museums and historical sites within walking distance. Park ranger free presentations at 2:00 PM were interesting and informative. Easy access. Responsive host. "We rented this place for a small family gathering and extra places for family to stay. The owner was not hard to reach and the place was decently priced for what we needed. It has two bedroom and is in the better part of Hagerstown. The only thing I didn’t really like was the street parking but that is more of a personal pet peeve than anything else. For the price and being in one of the safer places in town I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay."

"In town for Frederick 1/2 Marathon. Terrific location for enjoying all that Frederick has to offer. Walking distance to restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. The apartment was spacious and had a very comfortable couch. Kitchen had new appliances. The one downside was that hot water heater was not functioning properly. Had to deal with luke warm showers at best. Fix it and I’ll stay again."

"We had a nice stay, but unfortunately when we left on Easter Sunday we came back our cooler was stolen off of the porch. I left it out only to dry out."

"We found the apartment to be clean and comfortable. It has a nice soaking tub. The only reason we would probably not rent again is because of the cooking pots and pans. They should of been thrown away a long time ago. If you don't plan on cooking any meals including breakfast it would great place to stay."

Some things that stick in my memory: Of the two smoke detectors, the upstairs unit was missing from its mounting bracket and the downstairs unit had no batteries. "This little cabin was great!! Comfortable beds. Very clean. Brigid the host was so responsive. Instructions were very clear. She even answered our questions about recommendations for a goos hiking trail! Highly recommend! I hope we will be back."
