"Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Charleston"
Planters Inn is not only located in a beautiful historic building, but also right smack in the heart of the Old Town,
convenient to everything. The staff is excellent and accommodating, and the restaurant, Peninsula Grill, is
wonderful. We just had our second Thanksgiving dinner there and loved it. The mattress on the bed at Planter's is heavenly, along with the fine quality linens and wonderful pillows -- it's difficult to leave it in the mornings to start the day! We had a rental car, and used the valet parking that the hotel offers, but really didn't need a car since we
were so conveniently located. Highly recommend a stay at Planter's Inn! We just returned last night from four days there and really miss it!
My husband and I went for a 4 day getaway in Charleston and stayed at The Charleston Place. We couldn't have been more pleased. It was in a perfect location for shopping (right off if King Street) and ideal for walking distance from all the great restaurants. The room was serene and beautifully decorated. Always clean, excellent service, and the restaurants were great too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Charleston.
The Fulton Lane Inn is within walking distance to almost everything. The Market is just steps away as well as numerous restaurants. The Magnolia and Rue de Jean are both excellent places to eat. An overall great place to stay in historic Chsrleston.
Great location in the center of Charleston, on the corner of Meeting and Church. My lady and I parked the car and didn't see it again until we checked out. Great food, bars and shopping all within walking distance.
The Double Tree in the Historic area of Charleston has a great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The best restaurants are in close proximity, the waterfront is easy to get to and the shopping area on King street is just a few blocks away. All in all a gorgeous hotel in a perfect location!
