We loved our stay at La Villa Del Ensueno! The hotel is even more relaxing and lovely than the pictures convey. The staff were incredibly accommodating - allowing us to check in early and enjoy breakfast in advance of our stay. Our room was perfect - beautiful and private. The complementary breakfast was incredible and a very full meal. We waited out the heat of the day by the pool which was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

We really loved our stay at La Villa Del Ensueños. The staff were top notch. The small boutique hotel felt like an oasis in the city. The beautiful colors, plants, art and layout were great to wake up to and come back to after a day touring Guadalajara, Tequila and Tlaquepaque. We enjoyed the refreshing pool and our patio with a cold beer from the bar. Super friendly staff for checking in, breakfast daily, bartender and checking out. Housekeeping kept our room very clean. Breakfast was delicious every morning with many “American” and Mexican style choices. All very good and great service. Our only small concern would be the firmness of the bed. That is personal preference, but the bed felt pretty firm to us. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Great breakfast menu. Very helpful front desk. Easy walk to the downtown area. Only drawback were the stairs up and inside the room. Some rooms don’t have this split level but it was nice to have a full fridge and kitchenette.

The entire staff at Villa was amazing, and the gentleman in the evening was especially kind and accomadating, so a big shoutout and special thanks to him in particular. The hotel breakfast is the kind we can not stop raving about back home. The location is especially close to Tlaquepaque. You would be more than happy with your stay at Villa del Ensueno and we highly recommend it.

This place truly lives up to its name! It is absolutely darling and has the quaintest charm! So classic Mexican style and very fun to roam about. Honestly I could’ve just stayed there and read books all day long. The staff was very friendly and very helpful! The room was spacious and had everything one would need.

Love staying here when I visit Guadalajara with my family. The hotel is clean and well kept. There is a pool foe the kids. Breakfast and a welcome beverage are included. All this and you are right near the heart of Tlaquepaque. A wonderful neighborhood to explore.

We loved all. The person on charge of night shift, an old good men, has been extremely kind, polite and nice towards me and my family…. He’s the epitome of the excellence…. He never let us transport, loading and unloading our luggage from car to the room. He make us feel safe and in family. My kids and my wife love him! We use to stay there very often. We highly recommend the Hotel, the rooms, staff and service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Villa del Ensueno. The property is incredibly pretty, and the staff are amazing. Big shoutouts to Nicolas (front desk), Luis (onsite restaurant), and the cleaning crew. They were so helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay.

This is by far the best hotel, maybe in the entire Guadalajara area. We always try and stay here because of how ridiculously beautiful the property is. Year after year same staff will be there at your service and the hotel is super safe. I promise it will be worth it to stay here as no other properties come even close. Service is amazing, breakfast is huge and complimentary, drinks at private bar tastes so good and again it is such a beautiful hotel with the atmosphere just what you want to really get the feel of how beautiful Mexico really is. Disappointed to stay on other side across the street but it is just as beautiful as the main side with also being safe and beautiful. The other side is more private and maintained just the same. You will have zero regrets staying at this hotel. My advice is to book and take the stress away from the unknown. You will be amazed and I promise very happy you booked. Thanks to all who works there. You do an amazing job and we are very sad that we are now back in Chicago with freezing temperatures. See you again when we come back… Promise we will 😊

It is a very quiet location, and still at walking distance of main attractions in Tlaquepaque. Easy access to bus to Guadalajara downtown (just around the corner). A little further, but still at walking distance (15 minutes), easy access to metro, to take you to downtown Guadalajara and Zapopan. However, Tlaquepaque offers excellent dining and galleries. The personnel at the hotel is excellent, and they attend to all your needs. We met tourists that stayed in Downtown Guadalajara, and they wished they have chosen Tlaquepaque. Things are open at Tlaquepaque all the time. They offer bottled water at room and reception, and the whole hotel is smoke free. They take a lot of care with noise, since they see themselves as a "rest" hotel. Breakfast is not buffet, but includes everything you may need. Room is clean and with all toiletries needed. Cable TV and AC/Heat. Each room is unique in decoration. They all could be updated a little, but they are all colonial style and well taken care. They are starting to provide safes in some rooms, and I believe they have the intention to offer it in all. The only inconvenient is that you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet, and needs to put it in a basket (a city water problem, possibly). I believe that, in the future, all rooms will have a metal basket, opened with foot. They have parking, and a big mall less than half a mile down the main avenue. In all, my markings are specially for quietness and the superb, attentive personnel.
