The hotel was run down and not maintained well. The laminate floor looked like water had flooded it and the floor boards were not replaced. The area around had a lot of night clubs and it was noisy at night and early morning. The staff was rude and so was the restaurant staff. The towels were dingy and had holes in them. The pillows felt like they were balls. Overall we had a bad experience.

Hotel staff were very professional and exceeded expectations. They were very knowledgeable about what there was to do and where things were in the area. It is sad to say that the hotel is in need of a renovation, water spots in the ceiling in the bathroom, messed up creaking room floors but besides some renovations that are desperately needed, hotel was great over all, especially for the price. Will return again. Forgot to mention, great in hotel restaurant with awesome plates to chose from!!!

Not happy with room it was full of mold on bathroom ceiling. and sink was Clogged. Super noisy because they’re doing construction right next to my room. And Expedia doesn’t even have a way to report it Pretty pathetic app

I liked the location as it is very centric to many attractions. I did not like the internet connection. I had a lot of trouble with the internet. Very unreliable connectivity.

Horrible place
Rooms are horrible you get what you pay for. This hotel needs a complete remodel, paint was coming off from the walls, bed cover was ripped, water leak in the bathroom. This hotel is located right across from a night club, which stays open until 6am. I was on the 5th floor and I can hear all the noise coming from the club.

Rooms need updating but service was friendly.
If you're paying minimal and staying one night then this hotel is fine. The pool is huge and there is AC in the room but it's either set to high or low. The beds and decor needs serious updating! It feels like they haven't changed it in decades! It looks just like the photos! Surprisingly they had more outlets available than any room Ive stayed in. The room smells of a funky swear gas. I ended up getting bit by a bug on my ankles and behind my ears while sleeping overnight here. Gladly it was only 1 night. The bumps went away 2 days later. I wouldn't stay here again. The service was friendly and quick, but the rooms need a serious remodel.

I was very disappointed with the service this hotel gave. The front lobby is quite presentable yet you get to the room and it left a lot to be desired. I had to request they come change the stained sheets and it took the person who came to change them 3 sets of linen to find a clean unstained set. I then requested extra towels and the gentleman who brought them all but threw them at me when I opened the door. He did not even give me time to thank him and give him a thank you tip. The location was good and the self parking for a small compact car had easy access and it was free. For the price it would have been perfect if the service had been better, and of course, clean sheets! If those two things had not been an issue it would have been a great deal!

El a/c no enfriaba, en el pasillo había una charola con trastes sucios que parecía que llevaba días ahí. La ventanas no cerraban con el candado. Y para salir en la noche con tu carro tienes que ir hasta la oficina con el guardia para que el habrá el portón & igual de regreso.

Short stay in Guadalajara
Clean cofortable hotel in a quiet area of Guadalajara. Close to city centre, shops, Cathedral and good restaurants. Some of the furniture in the room had seen better days and is in need of replacement. Staff were nice, food was good. Good WIFI.

It is a really nice hotel worth the price. The restaurant is very affordable and food quality is really good. The bed might have not been super comfortable in my opinion but it wasn’t terrible either. We had a very pleasant stay.

I have stayed at several hotels in Downtown Guadalajara and this Hotel was horrible!!! The receptionist Lizette was very rude. I had to remind them 3 times my bathroom had no light. The rooms are very dirty. The pool was green with mold. When my daughter was using the lobbys bathroom she was told she had a bathroom in her room. The staff is not friendly. Please do not stay here. I had the worst experience at this hotel!!!

The worst and disgusting hotel I have ever visited
The rooms are completely dirty, the bathroom full of mold You can tell they have years without cleaning them, food thrown away, dirt all over the hotel.  Bad smell the dirty crystals , all hotel is dirty very dirty the TV did not work the air conditioner put on the floor and broken down , try to save causes bad experience I will not trust anymore in Expedia, should not do this with their clients

Very dirty room!
Room was NOT clean at all. Toilet was backed up and they sent up maintenance man who just handed us the equipment and EXPECTED us to unstop the problem!!! We had to wipe down all the surfaces and the towels we used to clean were completely black for the dust and residue! We purchased chlorine and cleaned the shower area because it was HORRIBLY unsanitary!!

Excellent location to sightsee and shop!
Just a one night stay at Hotel Cervantes. It is an oder hotel in downtown Guadalajara. It is clean, well run and full of helpful staff. It is older so not as nice as a lot of others but it should not be discounted for being old. The bed was comfy, everything was clean and it was easy to get around the area from it. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel
Very affordable, but they need to invest more money in the hotel, flat screen TV and radio, maybe a new Bar. And the receptionist should be more presentable for the guest.
