Houseboats in Grand Est

"We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10"!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. "Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einfach und sehr angenehm. Anfahrt, wie er vorschlug, über GoogleMaps, prima. Das Objekt , ein über 100 Jahre altes Boot, schön eingerichtet und renoviert. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen und schön ruhig. (wenn jemand Aktion will, ist das nichts) Ein weiteres Highlight, der Whirlpool am Steg. Gerne wieder."

"Unser Aufenthalt war super. Die Zimmer waren 1A ausgestattet und aufgeräumt. Frühstücken oder Abendessen auf dem Deck, war einfach klasse! Kurzer Fußweg in die Innenstadt. Kommunikation war leider sehr mau. Code für Schlüssel haben wir erst gar nicht erhalten. Englisch eher schlecht als nützlich. Und man sollte keine Angst vor Spinnen haben... aber das ist auf Wasser normal ;-)"
