"Stumbled upon this property by accident and it was a delightful stay. The weather did not cooperate, but it was certainly fun to be at the safari with the other property amenities. The cabin was simple and well-appointed for our party of 3. The lady working the front desk was very pleasant. We used the game room in the evening. We will visit again and ideally the weather will be better. Check out this unique plance."

"We stayed here while in the process of buying a house in Gatesville. It was home away from home and was a lovely place to relax from the stresses of life. It was clean and had everything we could have needed and more during our stay. The lake is low but we were able to hike down and explore. The house was kid friendly and had lots of books, some board games and other things to keep the kids(and adults) entertained. The owner was so very kind and responded in a timely manner. I highly recommend...

"This place is full of love and you can feel it from the moment you step foot on the front porch. This rustic charm was great for a team of missionaries serving those in chains. We had team builders and unplugged and rested and it all felt so great and peaceful. The beds here were truly so comfortable according to everyone that stayed, not just me. "This was our second time staying at this property. This is an amazing place to stay if you love all things nature. The property is absolutely beautiful. We hiked and hiked and hiked. "The front desk lady was a true gem. Very nice and helpful. There are a couple of things that prevent a better score from me. A few minor repairs would be nice, like replacing the bedside lamp that doesn't work. My only true complaint was that was not one single thing on the breakfast menu that i could eat. A banana or any other fruit would have allowed me to have breakfast. "

"Well, hmmm, the concept was great but the attention to detail was extremely lacking….it certainly would be a tight sleeping arrangement/ squeeze for 4 adults, there were 3 of us. And for starters: Couch was filthy, ladder to the loft …we are in our 60s and was sketchy for our age group AND, Im a pretty adventurous soul and grandma, would NoT want my Grands attempting that ladder to the loft…shower curtain mildewed, coffee pot wasn't working properly… rain came thru the bottom of the door....
