hotel and staff were lovely, the pool is small and very crowded so we didn’t go. the room service menu was a joke, not a thing we would eat ie. regular hotel food. We wouldn’t stay here again, the vibe wasn’t for us. Parking wasnt great, $55 tax for every night even as a hotel guest, then it takes forever to get your vehicle, like 25 minutes! it doesn’t help that they bring up cars and they’re parked waiting for guests so no one else can leave. if you’re young and like to party, like crowds, this is for you.

Second time here and just as good as the first time. Friendly staff especially the Italian lady Tanya? at reception who answered a few questions that we had and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Francisco also needs good mention as well as my fellow British countryman bell porter. Would stay again !!!!

Love this property because it’s a little off the main part of the strip but still surrounded by amazing restaurants at hotels near by. Main part of the strip is walkable and easy to get to within minutes. Love this property. Poll was clean, hotel was clean, Michelle and Emy were great bartenders pool side!

One thing I must say about this hotel is that I prepaid $850 for 2 nights, not including the resort fee or PARKING. Our party had 2 cars and were charged $110 a night for parking BOTH nights, even though one of the cars only stayed at the hotel 1 night. After the resort fees, taxes and $220 for parking, I was billed an additional $300 ! BUYER BEWARE

Westin Hotels never disappoint! We had a room with a great view and it is conveniently located to several fantastic restaurants. All walkable! Rooms and property are clean, staff was friendly, helpful and able to answer any and all questions we had. Had a great time! It is our new, go-to hotel when we go back to Fort Lauderdale.

Cost me $271 for room, $42 resort fee, $55 parking fee, and taxes for ONE night! The staff was great. The hotel needs to be cleaner, especially the vents! My allergies went haywire and there was thick dust in and around the vents. Room was not as clean as it could have been. Sadly it was kind of expected due to area etc…. Restaurant was hot shoulda have at least had air conditioning for inside. The walk from one building to the other was hot and lengthy and most signs were not very helpful and some wording was missing. I didn’t even consider the pool which was small, packed, and water looked dirty! Limited beach chairs and my friend was scammed. Were supposed to be included in price of resort fee but she was charged for the beach umbrellas. The beach workers scammed her so be aware!

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the hotel provides beach chairs to the guests (which they carry for you to your destination), the room was clean, and the area was safe. On our first day, we were asked to switch our room because of maintenance, and we were upgraded to a much larger room for free!

Horrible experience for such an expensive hotel. We spent just one night but the worst was that there was no air conditioning at all in the whole building the whole night!!!! The room windows were somehow locked, the temperature inside the room reached 82 degrees and the humidity was unbearable. When we complained during check out the lady at the counter just said OK all I can do is not to charge you for the resort fee ($42 plus tax), but now I got their invoice by e-mail showing they did charge me for that "resort fee". Never stay there, you're going to be very disappointed!

Check in was quick, adequately staffed with very professional people. The hotel's location was excellent as was a sense of security. It's wasn't Spring Break so I think considerably quieter than it could be. The staff at the Lavazza coffee kiosk were tops. The Mexican restaurant on the first floor was excellent (make reservations for outside seating). Atmosphere was excellent. Now for the bad. It was my wife and I's anniversary and my wife wanted an ocean view room. I made reservations for two queen beds (I'm an active sleeper and I snore.) and ocean view. Hotel management tried to do something special by giving us a suite, king size bed, and intercoastal waterway view. Totally unsatisfactory! We were able to get things changed to what we wanted to begin with (Thank you, Anna!!). No suite but my wife had her ocean view which was critical. The room was excellent except the louvered bathroom door. Any noise or light bleeds into the room. Wife didn't care for that but dealt with it. Room was kept clean by commendable service staff. The smoking area meant banishment to the parking garage but all of Ft. Lauderdale is anti-tobacco, cigarette or cigar. Check out was quick and easy. Parking fee ($55/day) seems excessive but there is no or next to no parking close in the area. This is something someone could better plan.

We had an excellent stay, and loved almost every aspect of the hotel. The location is perfect, as we could walk to many restaurants and stores.The only thing we'd do different would be to buy our own spirits and mixers, and just bring a cup down from the room. The $15 cocktails were a bit pricey for their quality, but that is "tourist trap" nitpicking. The food at Lona was exceptional. Get up early to reserve chairs poolside to guarantee a spot. The steak tacos were delicious. We will be returning.
