Independent, Fort Lauderdale Hotels

We booked this hotel on a whim for a quick winter getaway. Our mini vacation started immediately. Meals at the outdoor restaurant were good; conch fritters, shrimp salad, turkey club and mahi mahi sandwiches were all good. Breakfast at the diner style soda shop were reasonably priced and a good way to start the day. We got the all day water taxi pass and walked a mile to stop number 6 behind the Hyatt. The lobby bar in the hotel was a great place to meet others and get tips on the area and for a night cap. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

As we stayed only 1 night, the price was right even though the room was rather small in size. They have 2 pools and efficiency units available. It was within walking distance to restaurants and bars. If you are planning on staying more than 1 night, I would recommend asking about room sizes when booking and pay more.

I wasn't expecting much because of the price for the location, and the Zinn met those expectations. If your looking for the barely clean bare minimum, the Zinn is fine. The shower knob was broken, so I was given pliers to turn the water on and off.

really nice experience at this hotel. had to extend our stay, staff was very helpful and very pleasant. we enjoyed our time here.

I had the best time! I am a water person and the fountains were on point! Very calming and relaxing! Not to mention romantic!

Nice, clean room with friendly room attendants, desk staff. Refrig and microwave in room, drug store and grocery store across the street, Greek, Italian and a few lesser restaurants within 3 blocks, all in all a very convenient place. Beach access requires a bit of a walk, but driving to a beach parking lot takes 5 mins. Would recommend.

hotel was very clean and hotel staff very friendly . hotelstaff went out of their way to accomadate with chairs extra towels and anything else we may have needed. pools were clean all guests seemed friendly and family oriented was just a great place for the price and would reccomend this hotel to others and would definitly stay at this location again. also right near the beach and many walking distance attractions
