"The apartment looks exactly like the photos, with new modern kitchen and bath (complete with laundry). It is an attic unit which is quiet. Furnishings were comfortable, soft bedding and towels and we appreciated the coffee. Easy communication with the owner in whatsapp. There is good hiking and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend and wish we had time to stay longer."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for Schaffhausen as it is opposite the station and adjacent to the old town. Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. Really wish we had stayed another night as the stay was so pleasant. Especially the little birthday surprise at breakfast. Wonderful!"

We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. "The hotel was beautiful. Very comfortable. They have a mini farm for kids with rabbits, ducks and geese. The grounds are well kept and all the walkways are washed every day. The room was clean and comfortable. Did not smell. Clean bathroom. Service was friendly. Great price and came with good breakfast. I would stay there again and I would recommend it."

"Convenient place to stay. Restaurant had great food, although the service was lacking. Seemed there were a lot of wait staff in training and/or short staffed. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
