"We had a brilliant stay all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and although lots going on plenty of places to sit. We did have use of the pool and spa area which was o.k could do with updating a bit. And maybe a bit warmer. Room was clean and plenty big enough although bed was extremely uncomfortable. Me and my partner had a rough night sleep on a hard mattress which seemed to be wrapped tightly in a quilt. Would definitely return ...if we knew the mattresses were...

"Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. "Breakfast was great, location was perfect, staff were friendly. Mattress was comfy. There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was pleasant. Property is in need of updating, pillows need replacing, bed rattles, floorboards squeak. My room was on the 4th floor, no lift. The hotel is good value for money, I got what I paid for."
