Very good location to sit on the balcony and watch the cruise liners arrive.
and unload their passengers to catch a bus to the old town.
Staff very helpful.
Plenty of food at the breakfast buffet even though lots of people in the hotel.
The rooms were well cleaned on a daily basis.
We have stayed in four star hotels that were not as good.

This was a nice place, close to he beach, with many of the usual amenities of a good hotel. It is removed from the old town but close to the bus line, so not inconvenenient. It's remoteness from traffic made it rather peaceful.
What stands out to me was the most excellent complementary breakfast that we had. Good, brewed coffee- not Nescafe. A wide selection of fresh fruit. Fresh pastry. What a treat!
Just the power pill we needed to start our day and get rolling.
Our stay here was absolutely incredible the staff couldn't do enough for you.
After a few days they managed to print our national newspaper for us and attached it to our bedroom door every other day.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Dubrovnik, The location was excellent and the food in the restaurant was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble.
I have nothing but high praise for all the staff we met and interacted with.

Hotels often look much better in the photographs. 5 stars are not really five stars, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The two bed apartment we were booked in which overlooked the sea was beautiful. Equipped really well (although the kitchen unit was a little basic). There is free wifi throughout the hotel which is great and should be standard across all hotels I feel. The beds were firm and comfortable. Toiletries were posh and smelled great. Everything looked of high quality but the best thing was the view. Seriously, pay extra and get the sea view. It's breathtaking. Note that dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc aren't provided but you can buy a small pack for about £15-£20. Bit pricey.
The pools were great but half of them were closed due to it being off season. In fact a lot of the hotel was closed. However, it didn't bother me too much as we got such a good deal. I can imagine it's twice the price in the peak season but also very busy.
Great location near old town and restaurants.Make sure you get a room with a sea view.
The room was nicely updated and the hotel had everything you need. Unfortunately some of the restaurants were closed since it was off season.
The pool area was gorgeous.

We only stayed 2 nights, but would happily have stayed more, and would definitely go back. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and particularly helpful. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety with fresh fruit and egg and omelette stations, warm breads and pancakes etc which set us up for the day.
"A lovely restful stay in beautiful surroundings."
I arrived quite late from the airport but I had a supper tray made up for me and brought to my room. I woke every morning to the moon dropping off the horizon. I walked most mornings through Lapad on the Coastal route to the the Dubrovnik President Hotel setting me up for breakfast and the rest of the day. I took the bus into the old city either for evening concerts or a late supper and visited a number of exhibitions too. I will most likely visit again next year but be sure to book some sailing days.
