However, the room we chose was beside the front door, so as the other guests came and went we'd be disturbed by the front door closing. The Captain's Retreat Apartments will be our choice should we visit the area again, but we would choose a different room."

"do not judge a book by its cover as is in this case. situated on the freeway behind a pub we did not expect much and was very pleasantly surprised by the newness and cleanliness of the room. the downside is slow/weak internet and the bed isn’t as comfy. for short stays near footscray & sunshine where we needed to be we were very satisfied.
