"The El Pescador is a traditional Mexican hacienda style hotel. It has magnificent views from the beach side rooms, a lovely pool area, and direct access to the beach. They serve a light complimentary breakfast, but there is also a full menu available all day, including happy hour from 5 to 7 pm. The rooms are simple but clean, and the staff is very friendly. The location is great for walking to many delicious taquerías and the famous Malecòn boardwalk. Taxis are also readily available right outside. We would definitely stay again!"

"Liked the beachside room with the sou ds of the ocean for sleeping. Liked the access to water instead of plastic water bottles and the recycling efforts are wonderful. Appreciated the choice of fan or airconditioning as my partner finds the air conditioning too cold. Appreciated the fridge and surus of towels. Thanks"

"Magnificent location. Beautiful property. So convenient. Pool was romantically enchanting. Restaurant was wonderful. So popular too. One of two in only a few blocks walk. Lively setting and kind staff. The building is homey and with an Hacienda setting. "
