"We have stayed at this property several times and is our first choice for Akaroa. Our four night stay on a wet chilly week was very comfortable due to the underfloor heating. Its location is excellent on the waterfront and the on site parking is at the door but can be a little limited at busy times."

"Don’t be fooled by the photos. This property is 3 feet from a busy waterfront street with trucks, buses and cars passing 3 feet from your windows from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. "Stayed with my 4 children last week for 2 nights. Property is clean and tidy on the outside and rooms were great too. There was a little bit of a funky smell in the kitchen cupboards but we werent fussed. Window locks on the windows that faced out to the balcony. Hosts were lovely and very polite and welcoming. We have stayed in many motels and found Adelphis wifi the best! There was no lag or connection issues. My kids enjoyed their stay and have asked to return on our next visit. Would...

"A great get-away place to stay. Wonderful house and gardens to sit back and relax in. Perfect spot to go for walks and wander to the beaches. Supermarket, fish and chip shop and bar within a 5 minute walk which is all bases covered. Great host with great communication. Would recommend to others needed a relaxing break."
