Unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the tours we booked, the places visited were great but the transport provided (given advertised as a luxury tour) was unacceptable, a rickety dirty taxi! The owner needs to take better ownership of this, we (group of 10) didn’t get a very good result when speaking to him of this. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Marloth Park Riverside lodge. It is located about 15min drive outside the KNP crocodile bridge gate. The food was just ok but the staff is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is so nice and so welcoming. There are only a few rooms in the property. The ground floor rooms are bigger. "We liked the hosts Colin and Carolien so much. They could not do enough for us. We asked for a bigger room and we got the biggest room I have ever had in a lodge! They even drove us to get food and were such great company. The lodge was brilliant - very African. Zebras came right up to us! the wildlife in Marloth Park is very tame. The lodges are African style so quite dark as designed to be cool. Colin and Carolien had a generator which worked when the power was out which was often. "

"I stayed one night right before going into KNP. From start to finish Bernadette made me feel welcome a d was extremely friendly. I did receive a room upgrade and wow! The room was fantastic. Extremely high ceiling and fantastic backyard view. Though once twilight hits there isn't much sunlight so not much view can be seen. There is a restaurant nearby so you do not have to use the kitchens if you don't cook yourself. Also, ifyou would love to make the host happy please ask her about the lounge...
