"Loved the ocean and all of the amenities! beautiful, expansive beach was perfect for open water swimming. Swim-up bungalow was a bonus for our water-loving family. Service was top notch. "Wonderful stay at the Mitsis Royal Mare, the room and facilities were elegant and perfectly maintained and all staff were lovely and welcoming. We found the food in the themed restaurants great, maybe they could improve the food options for the main restaurant, especially for vegetarian guests. As in many resorts in Crete there were few stray cats and it was nice to notice one of the staff leaving some food and water available for them. "We enjoyed staying here. Rooms are comfortable, we had a nice size balcony with a partial sea view but very nice. The property has 2 restaurants. One buffet style for breakfast, which were very fulfilling. another restaurant was open for lunch and dinner. We loved , loved the food there. Fresh and just yummy. Gorgeous beach.
