"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"Perfect place to stay with your family. There's a lot to do in the surrounding area. 5mn away from the supermarket Leclerc and 10mn away from the amazing town of Bergerac. Great and vibrante at night with all the little restaurants and places to enjoy the culture and music. The only downside of the property was the lack of air-conditioning."

"The property was ideal for us, great enclosed garden for our dog. Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is quite rustic which is reflected in the price. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone with a dog. Very close to Sarlat which is beautiful . A short walk up the hill brought us to a lovely village and church which was beautiful.Follow the yellow signs in the village for a lovely circular walk back to the property via a bar, shop and cafe."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. "This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. "My wife and I were very happy staying here. As advertised, clean, modern, comfortable, view of river etc. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into town. In a very quiet road, easy to park next to the property in a sort of lay-by, (felt the car was safe there). Hosts were very friendly & welcoming and despite language barrier we managed well with the help of translation apps! No problems. Good restaurant options in the town in walking distance. Think we will visit again."

"We had a marvellous week in Fanny's gite in August '20. The property is clean, comfortable and well-equipped - and really close to so many places to visit. For those travelling by car with bikes, there's a private garage where we stored our roof rack, 4 bikes, and bike carrier, when we didn't need them during the week.
