"They allocated me an annexe accommodation, some driving distance away & nothing to do with the main building. I refused & had to pay 65€ extra for main building center. Restaurant was close Sunday so only Bistro offered Expensive & poor choice menu Breakfast buffet just ok for standard set. I would not stay here again, if you play golf it would be better value but I think it’s way overpriced "

"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

"The most amazing place we have ever stayed in! This historical, darling, little cottage has been lovingly restored & so beautifully & thoughtfully decorated. "L'Esplanade is in the heart of Domme, a charming place and town with a wonderful view of the valley. Parking is an issue. We left our car in a metered space (without paying) for about 45 minutes while we were checking in and received a ticket. The staff directed us to an unmetered spot on the street and we left it there for the rest of our two day stay. BUT we were there off season (week after Easter). If you are going to stay there during a busier time you should research the parking options...

An all round pleasant stay
"Just had the weekend in Sarlat, picked the Ibis for its location and free parking, on arrival check in was swift, no complications, Room was clean and big enough one didnt hit the bed when walking around, Bathroom was adequate and Staff couldnt do enough, always proactive if we wanted something and we could get a night cap at the Bar before bed, didnt take breakfast but it looked good going by how many guests were partaking, an enjoyable stay, have to mention Sarah at reception who was just perfect when we had a request or needed information, Thank you Guys"
