"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well. Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "A very impressive building. Bathroom a bit tired looking and taps stiff or leaking but a lovely location in the heart of Buxton. Only real gripe was that I was asked to pay extra for everything. Parking was an extra £5.00, use of the pool Is extra and breakfast was £24 extra! So I ate elsewhere. "

"Very little parking available, could do with fresh fruit available at breakfast otherwise great breakfast, continental and cooked available, great staff, room very hot ,fan was left on which was helpful,at night not much sleep due to heat, could not open window because of traffic noise, Lovely restaurant for evening meal. "
