"The Pudi is a lovely hotel located close to the Beijing Rail Station. It is in easy walking distance of convenience stores and restaurants, and the metro if you wish to go further. The staff spoke some English which was helpful and appreciated. The room is well proportioned, comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pudi and would stay there again and recommend. Would like to see less plastic water bottles, and instead replace with refillable ones. Also, some information in the room as to what is good to do and see would be a nice touch."

"Good location for Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Jingshan Park, etc plus close to Wangfujing Station on the metro. I had lounge access and was impressed with the food and service. Nicole was particularly helpful with lots of help and advice about attractions and local restaurants (for Peking Roast Duck - rude not to try it!). Also close to shopping if that's your thing. I would stay again."

"Excellent hotel. Reception staff very helpful and good languages. Very good location opposite peoples park and on Nanjing road. The peoples park metro is opposite the hotel so easy transfer from PVG airport (Line 2 or Maglev and Line 2). Taxi's also easy from / to hotel. The hotel has a large indoor pool and and an outside decking area for Europeans wishing to sunbath. Mornings are best. Hotel rooms very good in terms of size, furniture etc. Maid service also very good. The hotel has a roof top bar, which is good for views etc. Its a very nice hotel and fully justifies the rating particularly with the excellent staff. Travelled as a leisure couple from London. "

"You can’t beat Novotel’s location. While the hallways to our hotel room are little worn, our room feels plush. The room is nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The weekend buffet was a nice spread with an assortment of dishes. "

"Great 2 night stay, rooms was clean and quiet, two convenient stores and subway nearby. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, bonus for the fresh fruits, but I do not recommend the bacon, it smelled bad and tasted bad. "
