"Great common area. Double room was pretty clean and the staff dropped in fresh bottles of water everyday. Unfortunately I the room didn't have any windows and bathroom smelled really bad (probably from mould) so had to keep the door shut the whole time. Staff were helpful in arranging shuttle to airport. This is a fine budget place for a few nights."

"Stayed in a private ensuite double, was really clean and friendly hostel. Roof top bar was lovely. The ladies on reception speak excellent English and were really helpful! Only drawback is the beds are a futon mattress on the floor, so keep that in mind if you need something higher! The streets outside are well stocked with bars and restaurants, the metro is a short walk away!"

"Awful experience!!! My husband and I checked in at DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi on 9 June. While we were using the lift from 21th floor to Ground floor lobby at night, suddenly the lift(p1) dropped to 14th floor, then dropped to 13th floor again and stopped there. "Hotel is for those on a budget. Breakfast is not amazing and very very simple. Only plain porridge and some bread rolls and some vegetables. No boiling kettle in room and no tea or coffee in room. No bottled water in room. Restaurants are just opposite the hotel. Public transport is not easy. Only taxis / cabs there and you need to know how to speak Chinese too. Small hotel with not much to offer."
