"A few miles outside Cuenca, this was a surprise on the plus side for us as it is in a secluded area with grapevines in front and lots of mature trees Super private. No need to stay in Cuenca as it is a short drive in the morning to get to the hanging houses if Cuenca. The main lounge has a woodburning fireplace which greeted us upon our arrival. We enjoyed drinks by the fire before dinner which was a real treat. Just like being in your own living room. Dinner very good and the service...

"First, the staff were very, very nice. Front desk, people along with Juan all were very very kind. The location was very nice. The rooms were very clean and the beds were fine . However, I would skip on paying for the breakfast because if there’s large bus groups, you will never get to the buffet. There’s 5 to 6 people lined up for each section and we’re lucky to get an egg, etc…. so we usually ended up eating outside of the hotel because we had to fight to get access to main items …Hotel must...

"Thin walls between rooms Had a lamp which was faulty, twice had to request bulb be changed , finally lamp was replaced. Also, wall outlet nearest bed was not functioning. Lack of elevator meant lugging my very heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs.No coffee maker in room , should be a given in hotel rooms these days ."
