"This property seems either new or updated. We were on the lower level, with access to the parking lot and our car right from our room (Motel style). It is very close to an intersection, so easy to find, however it does have traffic noise,(ear plugs are provided on the night stand next to the bed). There are blackout blinds on the windows. Room seemed small. Walls seem a little thin as could hear the neighbors. It did have a nice area with counter and lighted cabinets. Microwave and coffee maker...

"This was your basic cheap motel. Easy walking to a couple bars and restaurants, parking in front of door. Check in was easy and guy was friendly. But this is an older motel with a bit of a shabby run-down feel to it. I'm not fussy; the sheets were clean and toilet flushed, so I was content. However, there were dust bunnies in the corners, and lots of frayed fabric, and worn surfaces. My room (22?) had two rooms and the bedroom didn't have a tv and the chairs were a bit worn in the living room...

"I was traveling with my dog. My room was located on the lakeside of the property which was a nice touch. I was able to walk my dog easily to the lake and enjoy the view. The only issue I had was that my room was surounded by a crew of people that woke me up at 5:30 am with tons of slaming, banging and stomping while they were getting ready for work. This was on a Sunday morning... Other than that... I was pleased with the place. "

"The home is beautiful and is set on the hill of a wonderful lake. The hot tub was very clean and beds were super comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4/5 on the accuracy of the listing is that I didn’t see (or maybe just missed it) that there are many stairs to go up/down to get to the home from the car. We had one person with a broken foot (in a boot) and one person that had total reconstruction of their leg due to an accident… stairs just made it much more difficult. But, the once in, it was...

"It had a nice welcoming area with the fireplace, the pool looks filthy there was dirt on our sheets and on our blanket, the pool so they could only have so many people in and the same people are allowed in all night so no one else was basically allowed to use the pool or hot tub area, I repeatedly asked for an invoice to be emailed to me and I had to call three times to get it."

"My husband and I stayed for two nights with our dog. We really enjoyed the how secluded the property was. The drive in was beautiful, we saw plenty of wild life with the bonus of the fall colors starting to appear. Our main goal was to fish, we were surprised / excited that this property had a small row boat you can use outside. (Just bring your trolling motor). Grave lake is has great fishing. We would love to come back."

"The hotel was an older beautiful remodeled hotel. Very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was fantastic and friendly! The dining area and patio is very unique and quaint. Great food and a lot of locally made drinks. I would recommend checking the Rapids Hotel out if you are in the area! We’ll worth the stop!!"

"Although we had an initial booking issue, it was resolved quickly. When we got there the back door was wide open so some leaves had blown in, it was kinda difficult to shut. We actually ended up staying in cabin 2 because of our double booking situation. It was fun going down to the dock and gushing for perch (although a steep walk haha). All the fresh air that came in through the windows from the lake was amazing. The cabins are pretty close to each other so not a whole lot of privacy."
