Part of the Dam Sen Park complex to which locals and visitors alike regularly flock, the Dam Sen Water Park offers the perfect escape on a hot day in the city. Take a leisurely splash in the pool or enjoy some more energetic fun and games on the rides and slides. There’s plenty of good clean fun to enjoy here.
If you’re looking for relaxation, start off at the Wandering River or wave pool. Both parts of the park are ideal if you’re taking younger kids or looking to warm up for some of the rides elsewhere. There is also a kids’ pool complete with themed fountains, tipping water buckets and small slides offering hours of fun for younger visitors.
If you’re looking for excitement, there are a few adrenaline rides. Look out for the Black Thunder with its laser lights and blackout tubing, as well as its exciting, fast-paced multi-slide. Feel your stomach lurch on the free-falling Boomerang ride too, not to mention the Kamikaze ‘Super-Speed’ slide. If heights aren’t your thing, you can also take a ride on the Wild River or play around amid the spraying jets in the Aqua Dance pool.
All that playing around in the water is bound to leave you feeling peckish. Within the water park itself you’ll find a small stand selling fast food, whilst in the surrounding Dam Sen Park complex there are plenty of delicious food options.
A short 20 minute drive west out of Ho Chi Minh’s District 1 and 15 minutes south-west of the city’s airport, the Dam Sen Water Park is located in the heart of the Dam Sen Park. It’s closed on Tuesdays but open every other day throughout the week. Lockers and other amenities are available, though do bear in mind that some of the water rides have height restrictions varying from around 1 to 1.5 metres.
