Too many stairs
Lovely stay, one of us has a very bad back and the stairs were difficult. Would have chosen elsewhere if we had known there were numerous stairs. The clothes dryer didn’t work?

The apartment was nice and close, in the Main Street and easy walking distance. Very quiet area. The only down fall would have to be, the beds are really hard 😕, even the kids commented on it!

Air con in b/room didn’t work. Rang desk and maintenance fixed quickly. Stayed on 3rd level which was a bit much when your in your 70’s, would not have booked if we knew that first. Otherwise it was clean and tidy.

While the property was in a very convenient location, and mostly clean, the shower and bath were dirty and the couch was manky. In the kitchen there were no oven mitts, and only one threadbare tea towel, so i nearly burned my hands getting the tray out. Some of the blinds were broken and couldn't open at all. Otherwise, the secure parking was good to have, it was in a great location and check in/out was easy

While the apartment is very handy to the shops, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We were upgraded to another apartment, however I would not risk staying there again until they replace the mattresses. The staff at the reception were very helpful and apologetic.

convenient but rather tired looking.
The apartment was rather tired and shabby, and could have been cleaner - around the door handles and we found a clump of hair next to the tv unit on the carpet. The furniture was a little grubby. Only 1 sachet left for washing dishes - how about a small bottle.Also extra toilet paper required. Not particularly quiet during the week - set in a rather industrial area of the town. It was convenient to walk into town.

We are a self-catering apartment complex and the amenities are provided as a starter kit so that guests don't need to go to the supermarket prior to arrival. The location is on the main street, with the supermarket across the road as well as restaurants and cafes surrounding the apartment. Please note that at any time during a stay, our reception team is on hand to rectify any matters regarding the apartment and your requirements.

Central location in Cowes
The apartment block is perfectly located on the main street of Cowes so is walking distance to the restaurants, bars and beach area. It is also within 100 metres of Coles and Woolworths. The apartment itself was a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with balcony. Just a word of advice, if you are doing an after hours check-in, make sure you read the check-in instructions carefully because the keys nee to be collected from a different location just around the corner. I didn't read this properly so couldn't get into my room. However once I called the after hours number, they were quick to assist me.

It was nice place to stay in during a family and friends holiday, just one issue appeared and it was rectified. Clean appartments in most liveable street and still close to the beach. Will come again.

Fine for a short stay, nothing special. The late check in was problematic. You must check in by 6 otherwise arrange late check in. We were running late and tried calling for from 5-6pm and no answer for the whole hour. On arrival our key was in a safe and no code was given to us. Fortunately we caught someone walking out and he helped us get the key.

Inconvenience in a superb getaway
The place and location was very good. However, the reception is far from the apartment we stayed on to, there are no after office hours contact details, and the parking slot allocated to us was occupied by other car.

Thanks, Anon for your review. All guests should be aware of the check-n details, which is a 3 minute drive from Oceanic. All guests are provided with a map, AH telephone number., gate access pass, kets to their apartments, an electronic gate FOB and a pedestrian password for the gate. Apologies over someone being parked in your spot, but there is usually plenty of parking spaces available under the apartments. Glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay.

My family have stayed at the oceanic 4 times over many years when it was with Quest. Room 19-The building is run down. We were given 1 sml round piece of soap for 3 nights. The stairwell was dirty and on the 1st level we saw opened condom packaging. When we arrived my 13 year old daughter found a condom in the toilet. (We have a photo) That left us speechless. This was the second apartment we checked into as. I chose not to call reception as I did that about the first issue. The lady at reception was good in trying to assist us. The first apartment was over the bins and the loung room & main bedroom were located on top of the bins. When we entered the property it smelt. We will not be staying at oceanic again.

Great for a break
We only stayed for the weekend but wish it was longer, great location, close to supermarkets and places to eat, 10 minute walk to the beach. Lots of space and comfy The balcony may not have a terrific view but it was lovely to sit out on in the evening.

Good location and meet basic needs
The accomodation is a good location, secure, and meets needs for a short getaway. The overall feel for our rooms was it was outdated and could do with some work. The heating (being winter) isn’t user friendly - the split system remotes don’t have any displays, so you can’t choose the temperature and change the fan speed - not sure if this is a cost saving measure by the owners or there is something wrong with both remotes. The shower base had a leak, and the floor of the bathroom was covered in water after every use- not good for the floor and concerning as it’s the second story. Also the shower ran out of hot water within 4 mins, not even enough to run a warm bath for our kids. That being said, it’s comfortable, it works for what we needed for a two night stay, and for the cost it was great.

Would not recommend this property for anyone! We left staring her away! The pictures are extremely misleading. The car park looks like an old dungeon and room is even worse! The foul smell that was in the room , blood stains on pillows the stains all over the lounges absolutely disgusting! Didn’t stay left as soon as I walked into the room! Extremely disappointing and especially misleading from The pictures. DO NOT STAY HERE wise words of advise!
