"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area....

"Denise is a beautiful, friendly, considerate and very welcoming landlady. Her home baked Irish breads are fantastic. We were there ten days and she baked bread for us on three separate days as gifts. Absolutely delicious. We won't hesitate in staying at her beautiful self contained property again. "Great place to spend our five week stay in Ireland! It felt like home for my husband and I along with our six children. The home is cozy and spacious inside and beautifully decorated. Loved seeing the horses pass being exercised along the road. We enjoyed eating at the Thatched cottage often and felt like regulars by the end of our stay. "A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million."

"I was concerned as to why there were no reviews on this place yet, so just wanted to leave one for anyone else who's considering it. This cottage was spotless, with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water (we've stayed at some where that was not the case), host(ess) was so sweet and kind, check in was easy, check-out was easy, it has been updated, so all fresh and new.
