"**Review:** We had an amazing stay at this hotel with Laura as our wonderful host. The location was perfectly situated in New Town, with everything comfortably close and within walking distance. On our first day, the hosts kindly circled must-visit areas on the map, making it easy for us to explore, even with our 5-year-old. The Mavyn Cafe on the first floor was a gem, opening early with fantastic coffee and pastries. I highly recommend trying the bramble and lavender loaf! Whenever we needed...

Most of staff at checkout are task oriented and their attitude does not reflect the level of service I’d expect in this prestige hotel therefore I will never be back . Also a hammering noise at 10 pm that went on for a good twenty mins wasn’t welcome . The waiting staff were very polite and friendly unlike the reception staff . "

"Children allowed in the bar area in the evening, unlike many pubs. Room was clean and modern, but musty smelling, and the lack of shower closure means water gets on the floor of the washroom.
