Amazing Place
Beautiful house in a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub with a view and grilling on the deck. The home was well kept and clean. It was a perfect place to spend a quiet birthday weekend.

Wonderful mountain getaway!
The views at this cabin are worth the price of admission! The hot tub worked great and was a nice way to relax and unwind in the evenings. The cabin was very clean and looked exactly like what you see in the pictures. This was the perfect place to unplug and relax, I would highly recommend!

March getaway
I stayed for two nights and got to enjoy running the first full day…and it snowed around 4 inches that night so very beautiful! i found the quaint cabin relaxing and just right for my quiet time/ work and play time! lasy luck was not on my side for gambling, but still fun! thank you everything was clean and relaxing

Excellent Getaway
My girlfriend and I were looking for a secluded home to escape any and all stress. We found just that. Relaxing feel and great view from the back deck. Couldn't recommend enough.

10/10 Relaxing getaway
The view is incredible and cuddling up in front of the fireplace is wonderful. Colorado springs is about 45 minutes away if you want to go do things. The cabin is cozy beautiful and relaxing we loved it so much. Jeff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay!
Such a welcoming home. The fireplace and views make this a comforting place. The amenities were perfect and the area was very peaceful. The check in/out process were super easy. I can not recommend this house evough and we would love to stay there again in the future

Lovely mountain home
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The back deck and views were amazing, and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while it snowed. Even though you are near other homes, it's still very private. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect
Absolutely loved our stay. Was able to get a lot of good relaxing in right before the holidays. My GF was able to read an entire book while I had to work the entire trip. I was concerned about wifi or connections but there was zero issues. Was amazing to end the evening with a dip in the hot tub and then warm up by the fire while watching a good RomCom. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable. I wasn’t sure what to expect but this stay had everything ready for us just need to bring your food and you are set. Love love love this property. Would love to visit once again. Wish I could give extra credit because of how great this experience was.

Amazing view and quiet
This was a great place. The views were amazing and it was SO quiet outside. The hot tub was great for star gazing. The lot is super-private. Perfect get-away for us and the dogs.

Best place in Colorado
We absolutely love to stay here. This is our second trip to this cabin, and we will be back again. The cabin is cute, cozy and clean. The view is amazing, the hot tub is relaxing and the bed is beyond comfortable. The drive up there is also very easy considering it’s elevation. It’s mostly highway driving with only a mile or so of dirt road but it’s maintained fairly well. Jeff and Tim are very thoughtful and helpful hosts. They always go above and beyond expectations.

25 anniversary trip
My husband and we're looking for a cabin with great views that was secluded, with fun activities near by. That is exactly what we got. We spent 5 days in this lovely home. Of those 5 days we spent time in Cripple Creek and Victor exploring shops, restaurants and the casinos. The majority of our time was spent at the house spending time with each other. While the home was secluded, it still had wifi and all the other comforts of home. We loved the home and the area immediately and are planning to go back.

This was our second time staying at this vrbo. We love the view and listening to wolves howling at dusk. This Vrbo is close to surrounding areas. Colorado Springs, woodland, manitou Springs, etc. perfect location for peace and quiet. The hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of the day…

My adult son & I stayed two nights to attend my middle sons wedding 15 minutes away from the cabin. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It has WiFi. (Good thing, because you will not get service out there) There is a hot-tub we enjoyed in the evening after long days away with the wedding party. The night sky awakens the soul! The views from the cabin are outstanding & you will see wildlife. Deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, etc... The kitchen is well equipped if you plan to cook. You'll have what you need! The only downside for me was the tiny bathroom. It was difficult to prepare for my event in, but I made do. A full length mirror would be helpful too. Neither of these were a deal breaker however. Before you head out on an excursion or what not, be sure to bring up your destination in maps before losing WiFi! It is easy to get turned around. My biggest negative was not being able to enjoy the cabin more during the day because we were on the go so much. Stay there, you will not regret it!

Couple's Getaway
This property was just as advertised. We especially enjoyed the view from the deck and hot tub! The starry sky at night from the hot tub was breathtaking! Had several deer hang out near the house and visits from hummingbirds! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The only negative we had was that the bathroom is very small. We drove Shelf Road to Canon City which was a beautifully scenic drive, visited Royal Gorge and went to 11 Mile Canyon while staying here. We would definitely stay here again if back in the Cripple Creek area.

Fantastic View of the mountains with complete privacy
The property was excellent. The only improvement we would suggest is to work on cleanliness Several areas of the home were covered in dust, and we found clumps of dog hair in corners. In addition, the floors were not adequately cleaned even thought they appeared clean to the naked eye. When we went to wipe up spilled water, the paper towel was very dirty. The shower also had stains in the corners.

Fantastic little cabin! The hosts have thought through the renters needs well and the description is accurate. View off the deck is hard to beat! Note - Apple maps will take you through 20+ minutes of unnecessary mountain roads vs a 4 minute drive off the highway. Only other note is bring a hoodie for deck sitting as it gets chilly.

Fun Family Trip!
My kids and I had an absolutely amazing time both relaxing and exploring here. The cabin was so cute and so perfect for us. The hot tub was excellent and the location was breathtaking! The cabin had absolutely everything we could have needed for our almost week long stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and once we stepped foot onto the property knew we should have booked for a longer stay. Gorgeous views and well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. Quiet, private, and wonderful views really made this special. There's a general/liquor store just a few miles north that had a few things including firewood, if needed.

Beautiful views and wonderful hosts
Our stay exceeded expectations! The property's patio overlooks a beautiful valley full of evergreens. We thought the views were so good that we chose not to hike (maybe due to laziness as well ;) haha). The grill was perfectly set on the patio for a pretty sunset while cooking dinner. The hot tub was the main reason we booked the cabin because of how it was positioned with a view of the trees. We used it once during the day and once at night. Both were great, but I especially liked it at night because we could star gaze :) We woke up to a dead car battery, and the hosts were so kind to come jump the car for us. It must've taken almost a half hour for them to do so. In the same trip, they troubleshooted the grill when we couldn't get it to work. We loved our stay! Thank you, Jeff and Tim, for a fun getaway in the mountains. P.S. The tap water is :chef's-kiss: I sound like I'm joking, but I'm not. I'm a Zero Water snob, and the cabin's tap water was delicious!

Cozy cabin, kitchen very well equipped, quiet, good views!
Had a great stay at this property with my girlfriend! Love that it’s dog friendly as I always wish I could bring my dog along but sometimes can’t when we do our cabin trips. The kitchen was very well equipped which was rare. We were able to bake cookies and make waffles and even had a pizza cutter for us for the night we had pizza. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Unfortunately I didn’t buy a fire starter log so we couldn’t get the fireplace going but otherwise everything was great on our stay! My requirements when looking for a cabin is remote, good views, a hot tub, TV, pet friendly, and a fireplace and this checked all boxes!

We had a fantastic time. We did experience a sound coming from the distance that we determined was either Sasquatch or a moose that really added to the experience! Personally I believe it was Sasquatch so that was and addition to the experience!

Not quite what we expected.
It was a nice get away! Beautiful views, quiet, and peaceful. Online pictures did not reflect the cabin/house we stayed in. Very dusty in places. Wish we knew to bring, garbage bags, toilet paper…ect. The owners were prompt on responding to us & very kind!!

Thanks so much for staying at the cabin and sorry it didnt meet your expectations. I've let our cleaning team know to make sure and do a better job. We do provide trash bags, toilet paper, etc- if you needed more of any items stocked in the cabin, all we ask is that a guest reach out to us at the contact info provided in the access instructions. We try to put enough supplies in the cabin for each stay but we realize sometimes more items might be needed. Usually one of us is nearby the cabin and can bring the needed supplies over within a few hours or less. We will be getting the photos updated in the spring. You are right- the photos online do not match what the cabin looks like now as we have put over $70,000 in interior and exterior improvements since those were taken. :)

Cozy cabin with a view!
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. Beautiful view and loved the fireplace and hot tub. The stairs to the loft are very steep but the little human handled it and liked having a special space upstairs.

Cozy Cabin
The cabin was a great getaway in the mountains; very cozy but with all the amenities you would need. Check in/out was easy, and while we did not have contact with the hosts, they left clear instructions and a thank you message with some drinks. The view, comfortable cabin, and hot tub made it worth the trip; we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
