This hotel is right on the main strip in cripple creek. You can walk to all the other casinos and restaurants. It has a very historic feel to the rooms and hotel.

No ramp areas for handicap individuals. No ground floor rooms for them either. How are handicapped individuals supposed to use stairs in case of fire?

I usually love the rooms at the Century, but interior queen room 211 was a big step down from previous stays in a king room. Not just in terms of space, but this room is in serious need of repairs and updating. It had many dings and chips in paint all over. Worst condition was the bathroom with peeling paint, chipped porcelain, and black spots on the ceiling over the tub.

Very nice and friendly people. Was very nice and clean. But was a little noisy because of the casino but had ear plugs in our room. Otherwise a very nice place to go.

Century is my favorite place to stay in Cripple Creek. They have great rooms that are reasonably priced and breakfast is included. I only wish they had better video poker odds in the casino.

dated hotel but great room
My husband and I stayed overnight here during the ice festival Cripple Creek was hosting. The room was clean, updated and a large space with 4 windows overlooking main street. Note: Was worried when we first arrived -The hotel has no reception area, it is dark, small and felt dated (you walk directly into the gambling area). However, the room itself was great. Free, convenient parking behind hotel. Had buy one get one free dinner and free breakfast with our stay. Restaurant lacked in aesthetic appeal but had great food and friendly service. We stayed in a suite for reference.

Really not hot water for a 2nd person to take a shower. Water pressure pretty low too. Rooms are nice but very unclear where to check in. Need better directions in reservation for that

Clifford who checked us in was pleasant professional and very helpful. Room was a good value & very nice but mattress a bit too soft for our taste. Great location for the Ice Festival! (if you are a coffee fiend, bring your own-theirs is quite weak j/s). Thanks for a great little getaway to Cripple Creek!

An enjoyable experience
Check-in was easy and quick. We found the price quite reasonable. Parking right across the street & free. The room was clean and quiet at night. Check-out was a breeze. The food for dinner & breakfast was good. Everywhere we encountered the staff, we found them to be engaging, personable and friendly. We have no complaints and would stay here again.

not as nice as Black Hawk CO.
we received a free upgrade to a sweet which was nice. Im guessing since it was a Monday it wasn't a big deal. The sweet was not well lite and rather dark, some of the lights didn't work. they need to add brighter lighting. Also the restaurant was lacking decor and good food. For being one of the best casinos in cripple creek I was disappointed. I'll stick with Black Hawk CO casinos. much nicer!
