"GPS took us to the wrong location, not the hotels’ fault, but it was harder to find than expected. The biggest issue we had is the shower had a floor to ceiling window to the outside. It was frosted, but it made showering uncomfortable. Also the elevator was interesting. It was almost like it was a warehouse lift for pallets."

"Cleaning was not great - dead flies i windows and corners of the floor. Floor was very dusty - maybe the cottage has not been used for a while. There is no oven in the cottage - only microwave. They definetely want us to use restaurants. Surprised that the service personel only spoke very limited english - and most menues were in either dutch or german. Aqua-dome is amazing though! There truely is something for every age and every temper. "

"Our family of 7 enjoyed our vacation over Christmas at this property. The owners were wonderfully kind to communicate with, rent from, and decorated for the holiday so my daughters would feel welcome. The space is wonderful for a large family or perhaps for 2-3 smaller groups. I would definitely rent again. I would highly recommend in the spring and summer as I’m sure the garden is amazingly beautiful—it was even enjoyable in December. Thank you again, Barkeys!"

"The room was clean and efficient, loved the heated bathroom floors The church bells tolling in the morning were delightful. The staff was busy but always made time to answer questions with a smile. The restaurant was very very good and the breakfast was a delightful private table with a generous variety of bread, rolls, fruits, yogurts, eggs and meats. Coffee and tea with again a very capable and friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit. "
