"The water features are all around. Hot tub, pool, and fountains. Lovely hosts and K9's. We had such a wonderful time! The cottage is charming inside and out. Everything you need and cute as can be. Plus a perfect porch. We were here for an event but would come just to hang out. Not one to gush most of the time, I could go on and on about this property. We simply loved it! Greg & Loreen"

Bidwell Bijou: Luxurious home 1 block from Bidwell Park & Downtown.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"Bidwell Bijou is a beautiful craftsman house remodeled for the modern day. Furnishings are good if a bit spare. Location is fantastic. Those who wish to cook in the “gourmet” kitchen will find it under supplied, but if all you need is a microwave and a coffeemaker, this is a great place. Everything was exceptionally clean, and beds were comfortable."

"Loved this cute bungalow home. Thought it would be noisy as it is on a little bit busy street but it was quiet and cozy inside. We walked to town for great food and drinks- host left great neighborhood details and recommendations. Close also to great bike trails and the college. Super clean and well appointed. Only two small things-couch is not comfy and the house is slanty. Kind of adds to the charm but is a little disorienting. Host was supper accommodating. Great stay overall."

Charming Canyon Cottage
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (16)
"The cosy little cottage is in a beautiful and very quiet setting. We had made plans for hikes etc but were more than happy to stay on the property and relax there, listening to the chatter of the woodpeckers. I did, eventually, take the hike up Center Gap Road to the top of the ridge, which was well worth it for the expansive views."

The Spanish on Sunset - A charming, peaceful, and well located three bedroom home.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"Our family of four (parents and college-age kids) really enjoyed our stay. The check in process and house instructions were clear and informative. We loved the comfy beds and the ample living space, as well as being able to bring our dog. The kitchen is small but well laid out and had a nice selection of spices, salt and pepper, oil, and small bags of flour and brown sugar. Small improvements that would make a big difference are: more lights, particularly in the living room; more hooks and/or...

"My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. Roberta went out of her way to replace the packnplay that was provided at the property to provide a safer one and that was greatly appreciated. Some of the sleepers aren’t in the best conditions, but aside from that, I highly recommend staying here!"

"It was great to get away & to include our dogs. We were never able to get the internet to work & our contact's response was to use our phones. The microwave didn't work and the fry pans and utensils need replacing. Check in was only given 10 minutes before the start time & we had problems getting to the VRBO site for info using our phones. Finally used 2 phones at once to get to the site for the landlords instructions. Luckily the house was unlocked when we arrived. The bedroom next to the...

Charming Orchard Cottage

"This is a cute, nicely renovated, roomy, detached cottage set in the middle of a fruit orchard. It was sparkling clean and very quiet which is just how we like it. We were charmed by the orange trees over the patio and at the front door. Despite the bucolic setting, we found it was just a few minutes drive to downtown Chico to restaurants and stores. The hosts were very responsive to any communication and provided clear instructions for checking in and out."
