“Nice at a good price”

I stayed in a small room with the shared bathroom, which worked out perfectly well for my needs. The breakfast was great! It's about a 10 minute walk from the old city, but tuk tuks are readily available, and most tours will pick up right from the hostel. The only problem was that there was a wedding one of the evenings. The wedding itself was quite loud, and the pool was unavailable for the prior day for the setup.

“Comfortable and clean”

There wasn't really anything very "eco" about this place, besides a whole bunch of potted plants everywhere. More than likely a hotel that wasn't doing very well that got re-branded. Nevertheless, my room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was solid, and the staff were friendly. I think it would be a great place for a family because it has a giant pool and its very spacious and relaxed. Its a bit far from the moat and the centre of town, so you have to rent a motorbike or get a taxi to get there.
